Why isn't the MSM talking about how CLINTOON TURNED DOWN an offer to have Bin Laden handed to him?
"told me the CIA informed him in mid-November of Bin Laden's presence there."
Guess houskeeping is still a work in progress.

Missing Bin Laden -- and the Point
FrontPageMagazine.com ^ | 11/02/04 | Dick Morris
Oh? Why? This board is largely the amen chorus for President Bush. they won't be swayed by this. Plus it's out in the public. Not like the author is some freeper that suddenly found the "Osama was lost in Tora Bora" link. Are you saying we should blind ourselves to facts cause it's an election season? And understand, I'm not saying it is, but it's out there, let's find it's merits and go from there.
In case you haven't got the memo yet, Clinton is not president now...hasn't been for almost four years.
You can't play the Clinton card anymore.
While I would love for everyone to agree with everything I post it wont happen. Generally there isn't much well as you call it negative news in the Military Early Bird Brief, that I read every morning to see what my beloved and the rest of the military read overseas. I guess you now know how I feel most every day when I read it, thinking why our military had to read this trash day in and day out. But, you know I do post the many good works of our troops. Please take a moment to go way back in my posts.
While I hate to defend this, this is what our fine troops read all around the world. Ignore my threads if you do not like it. To not post does not make it so.
Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India in some of the highest
roughest terrain in the world is virtually impossible,
especially when one is looking for a small band of men that know the terrain from birth.
The author attempts to claim the fact that Osama slipped through to be a blunder which its not.
Catching him would have been fortunate, not a given.
No. The author has written a book on the subject...
We are having an election today..If you think Kerry could do better ..rant on.
BUSH/CHENEY 04 FOR THE SAKE OF OUR NATION
Election nerves at work, here...;)
Well, I see you're being pounded on by all the former "He's dead Jim" chorus line types, that up until the Video, were absolutely certain Osama was taking a "dirt nap" on the cave walls in Tora Bora, but now insist he was never there. Ain't that grand?! Blackbird.
I do understand. I guess sometimes I get so frustrated with the bombardment of negative "news" by the MSM that I want to put on blinders. I'm sorry. It was wrong of me to accuse you of having a knack for negativity.
"These guys had to have permission to do anything and to get it they had to talk to someone still asleep in Florida. Lots of bad guys got away because of it. And not just at Tora Bora. i remember reports of convoys and the guys couldn't get permission to fire fast enough so they got away."
Much of these problems have been corrected. For example, there was a report of an armed drone detecting a major Al Qaeda target, possibly Bin Ladin himself, early in OEF. The lawyer in CENTCOM recommended not firing since there was a house located nearby that might have held civilians. Such PC claptrap has been corrected.
This would be a good thread after the election where honest criticism of the WOT strategy & tactics could be discussed but today the most important battle of the war is being fought at home.
What would the libs say? "Bush wasted more than 100 special troops for nothing!" I think its better for the U.S. to let Osama relax a little, get a little sloppy, and then get him when they know exactly where he is.
The simple fact is, that Clinton was ACTUALLY OFFERED a shackled and arrested Bin Laden by Yemen and he turned down the offer - this after Bin Laden bombed the WTC the first time. No other person has ever been in such a situation.
Jim Geraghty on Classified Leaks on National Review Online
And in what has to rank as one of the most damaging leaks of all time, press leaks tipped off Osama bin Laden to the NSA's interceptions of his satellite phone conversations. He then switched to more sophisticated phone systems, according to intelligence officials
Perhaps, but, you know if you saw the EB today you would be disheartened there is really NOTHING in it today accept one or two articles that are upbeat, honest or offer hope.
Today of all days. They discuss the possible draft, which we know will NOT happen under Bush. They discuss the equiptment that is not available the list goes on. So I am angry, and while posting just election news is good, this is what they are reading ..... and it angers me, espcially on day like today.
But, really thank you for the post. Nerves or not, I know we all want the same thing. That is what gives me hope.
I hate they read it,too..
God bless our armed forces and those who wait for them at home.
If only the Broncos could re-play their last two games - gosh it would be so easy to win.
Let's see now, whom shall we blame, okay sure, the owner, no maybe the coach; oh shucks, the quarterback, yah, he is at fault; but then how about the defense - seems to me they could have been more aggresive.
There is only ONE way to win a war decisively - send a B-2 over and drop 4 nukes otherwise you do the best you can with the best Army and the best Air Force on earth and stop the belly-aching.
It is almost funny how people who never did something know exactly how to do it.
