now he [Bush] is spending my tax money to propagandize me on the federalization of education
Please substantiate your comment by providing links that prove that the President knew anything at all about this. Thanks. :)

It was very. Especially since I couldn't correct and exposed myself as a careless FReeper.

I would be more concerned with the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. They are not paid Democrat operatives?
The black conservatives have to know that the left will ride this into the ground. Let us hope that this writer Armstrong will now make a documentary on education. Democrats in cities like Philadelphia have a school system that is failing and taken over by the state. It is easy to chase after Armstrong while ignoring the real issues. Rotten schools for blacks in Philly while the political elitists use
Sidwell Friends in DC for their kids. Vouchers? Not while Democrats are in charge.

Ah. So if he's rational and reasonable ... who cares if he's engaged in unethical activities????

"For you to the ethically-challenged Williams in the same league as honest black conservatives is wrong."

Now you presume to read my mind. Black conservatives get criticized if they blow their respective noses. I never said what Williams did was ethical, or prudent. It wasn't.
You get a con man like Sharpton, who is a crook, and a thief, and should be in jail (Tawana Brawley), and he not only gets a free ride, he runs for President, with virtually no scrutiny by the media. Then along comes Williams, who makes a mistake, admits it, and he is castigated by the left and the right!

Aside from the war, I am not a big fan of Bush. He gives the NEA scum an extra 8 billion dollars to play with, and helps them to consolidate their power with this BS education boondoggle. Then he plays lapdog for Vicente Fox.
