This smells, and as Conservatives, who are better than "that other side", we should demand they clean this up.

True.
We made all the stink we could when the news came out that some TV shows were adding anti-drug subplots in return for favors from the Clinton Justice Dept.

The Government has no business advertising, especially in secret.

Nevermind what I said. I retract my statement. I would not be questioning her background if Armstrong Williams didn't screw up.

Tax payer money being used to promote seat belts, fire safety, recycling, safe sex, smoking, drugs, drunk driving,
over eating to name just a few. So all these are pure as
the wind driven snow and NCLB and Armstrong Williams are
pure EVIL who must be destroyed. Somehow I just do not
see how that should be so. Been nice if he had disclosed
but if not against the law why all the fuss? If he were a
Liberal Rat the MSM would not be interested in this so called scandal at all. He would be a night in shining armer doing the Lords work. Anyone attacking him would be branded a racist and that would be the end of the story.

During the Clinton yers, I remember one of the networks doing a made-for-TV movie that was made specifically for the purpose of pushing a bill that was going through Congress (Family Leave Act, perhaps? It had some relation to families). Bubba even made a cameo appearance in the flick to push this initiative.

This is not exactly the same as the Armstrong Williams thing, but it still smacks of propaganda as much as what Williams did. I don't remember an outcry over the Clinton thing, though.

Read # 33 as well Mr. know-it-all mind-reader.
I pointed out that it was unethical of Williams to do what he did..
If you are too dumb to realize that the rats don't want us
converting anyone who is black or Hispanic (which could be some of our fastest groiwng converts, politically) you need help.

Of course Williams is a much bigger target because he is black. What he did was wrong but I don't see it as such a huge cardinal sin as some do.

Besides I am not really too good at bashing conservatives.
something about shooting our own......

Re: "The leftwing nuts are angry that Bush was elected not selected."

You're absolutely right - every single person, item, and event even remotely conservative from now until President Bush's end of term will be trashed because of those sour grapes over the lose of the election!

Re: Conservatives start circling like sharks when they smell another conservative's blood. They Dims love it. They sit back and laugh while we tear each other apart.

This happens all the time - we believe that we are so righteous and santimonious -

ALL: Those of you who are so quick to judge Williams - Think about that next time you speed and break the law!

I love Michelle but she's wrong on this one.

Like Michael Savage, she plays to a particular audience. I'm not a part of that audience, but I won't criticize her.
