The overall cost of funding...is estimated, variously, as close to $40 billion and going up Didn't the much hated tax cut only account for about 70 billion? So if the government stops giving money to the groups that decry the "irresponsible" tax cut--the special interest groups will have acheived more than half of their goal! Sounds like a win-win to me.
