And don't forget God.
Get mad. Don't apologize. Don't throw him overboard. Black conservatives feel they have to be perfect. You're not. You can't be. It's impossible.
Ask why white commentators can get away with this stuff -- whether conservative (Rush and Sean both hawk products on their shows) or socialist (two words "Bill Moyers").
And remember -- Williams is not a journalist, he's a commentator. There are different standards.
If any single behavioral aspect of the monied left is more offensive than its pampered and perfumed spokesthings attacking honest guys like Williams over matters of how much Williams gets paid by whom, I certainly don't know what it might be. Now, if they had evidence that he did not believe what he has said but only spoke BECAUSE of money, that might be different. That is certainly not the case. They just despise the idea that any black would not be satisfied with the crumbs from the table of Ted the Swimmer.
Be not afraid! We will win.
What about the black ministers who the DNC has paid for YEARS to "get out the vote?"
Please see #25.
Indeed.
Quiet as it's kept, that's one of the mistakes that we keep making. We keep worrying about the underhanded tactics that the left keeps making. It's wrong, they know it's wrong, yet they do it anyway.
We don't need to stoop to their level.
I refuse to.
I agree 100 percent, but why not at least mention it while they are skewering Armstrong.
I mean, if they want to be fair.
1) Payola is payola.
2) Taking payola to defend NCLB = defending the indefensible.
Agreed.
I remember the same things from my youth, and today most blacks in this area cannot accept equality, they are either looking to the government for help which is not given to whites or they are imagining themselves superior to whites or both things at the same time. True equality seems
unreachable.
The most amazing part is to see the continuing outcry against "discrimination" when it is obvious that the only real discrimination in this area favors the black race.
It's not stupid for Michelle Malkin to play this game. It's her schtick.
She writes for her audience which is comprised of Michael Savage types and paleos. This is the audience in which I steer clear.
"Life continues."
Exactly :) Good post.
That Sherman Adams chinchilla coat was my first introduction to American politics!
I haven't heard it mentioned for decades. ;^)
Though what Armstrong Williams did was wrong, the feigned "outrage" from the left is worse because it shows their hypocrisy, which is worse than any greed that might be ascribed to Williams.
