It faces a lonely future as it leaves our galaxy, never to return.
I didn't know stars have feelings.

"... the discovery of a star leaving our galaxy, speeding along at over 1.5 million miles per hour." I hear liberals are flocking to buy seats.

"Only the powerful gravity of a very massive black hole could propel a star with enough force to exit our galaxy," explained Brown.
Or it could have been behind Pop after he ate a full plate of blackeyed peas with onions.

Maybe the liberals can hitch a ride on that star, instead of going to Canada.

Reid and Pelosi want a new program to aide lonely stars. Of course taxes will have to be raised to support it.

I'm surprised they hadn't followed the French lead and issued a "Sunshine" tax.

The star, catalogued as SDSS J090745.0+24507... That's exactly what I would have named it.

This roscoe star should be catched, harnessed and made work in our SUV ingines. This would solve our inergy problems, not use gas-oline and bank-rupt the oil terrorists. This could be hugh!

Anyone here know what constellation this thing is in? Just curious The star's designation looks suspiciously like it is based on its position. Some star catalogs are set up that way. If that is the case, the 090745.0 is likely its right ascension and the + 24507 is likely its declination. If that is the case, taken at face value, that position would be in the constellation Hydra.
