Anyone who does that (giving a warning to the convoy about to be ambushed) is probably a pretty brave guy. He's definitely not one of the attackers!

Thats how I saw it too, This guy was warning our troops of an emminent ambush. God Bless and Protect our Brave Troops!

For a couple of reasons we get letters here about every two weeks from a young lady who is driving one of those trucks in convoys in Iraq.

We worry about her all the time.

Excellent results in this engagement, even though it was a well-set-up ambush. It takes discipline and courage to do what our troops did.
