My family and I watched a show on "Modern Marvels" a few days ago. It was about how advances in farm machinery and technology have given American the lowest cost food in the world.
My sons and I discussed how a show like this should be required viewing for kids. Too many of them have been indocrinated by the left about the evil conglomerate farms and the glories of subsistance farming.
I guess there is something so romantic about a starving peasant.
Good advise. We should take him up on that. I don't want a dime of my taxmoney sent to this communist utopia.
Mugabe is high on the list of world's worst leaders. I'm predicting an unnatural death for him.
But I am crying for all of the innocent people who will have to suffer and die because of his brutality and stupidity.
And Mugabe and Company get rich by selling the food aid on the black market, while his genocide campaign moves forward. Following the footsteps of his buddy Mengistu and his idol Stalin. Mugabe needs some lead supplements (7.62x51). Meanwhile the Food-Aid concert goes on, with all the celebrities blaming it on Bush.
The POS is 81 years old. Old for males even in modern countries.
yeah ,...I think the situation is largely a contrivance to get aid flowing that will be diverted[read that STOLEN] ,...after all , the Oil For Food fiasco just emboldens these criminals
I believe that your suggestion is the only course of action for black Africa. Otherwise it's best to do nothing but evacuate all whites from South Africa and the psuedo-nation of "Zimbabwe." All of those that wish to leave. If any stay, they are on their own. And I believe your sugestion should apply to any third world pest whole America decides to involve itself with. Total submission or nothing.
This actually works out quiet well for Mugabe...he goes to plan B now...which is to take the country into war with a neighbor. Everyone gets their mind off Mugabe and the farm issue, and starvation...and they fight to get food from their neighbor. Its basically a full circle. And when this war ends...the best generals and commanders...get the best property from the blacks who currently "think" they actually own the land. The UN will do nothing...and the US is sure not going to get involved. Its a terrific plan.
"Take up the white man's burden,
The savage wars of peace,
Fill full the mouth of famine
And bid the sickness cease,
And when YOUR goal is nearest,
YOUR hope for others sought,
Watch sloth and heathen folly,
Bring all your works to naught."
Kipling knew his stuff.
Africa should be quarantined and left to sink back into primevil darkness.
Regards,
The examiners would fail switches, fail signals and set up traffic scenarios and ask the switchman what he would do, making the scenarios progressively more difficult.
Finally they set up an absolutely impossible situation with all the switches and signals failed and two trains belting toward each other on the same track.
When asked what he would do the switchman said "I'd call my sister".
"But what can your sister do", asked the examiner.
"Nothing" replied the switchman "but she has never seen a train wreck".
More subsidies?
Speaking of superstition it should be interesting to hear the excuses pour out of Mugabe's and his western supporter's mouths. Liberalism more and more sounds like witch doctor mumbo jumbo.
....the psuedo-nation of "Zimbabwe."
The nation-state is generally speaking a Western phenomenon, if ancient Greece was defined by it's city-states, and Rome by it's empire, then for the West it is the nation-state, when Western powers left their colonies, they tried to create nation-states in their former territories, but in Africa society is defined by the tribe, not the nation, i.e. the reason Africa has so many failed states.
oops....you left out North Korea as a donor.
Red China to the rescue.
I didn't realize Mugabe was that old. Then it's a race against the clock. Whether old age and infirmity catch up with him, or a bullet finds him first, his time is short on this planet.
