This is from the same school district that brought you the Mifflin High School rape case that went unreported by school officials last spring. Someone please send this to Glenn Beck, maybe he can call mayor coleman and "get to the bottom of this story."

Principal Accused Of Promoting Alcohol Use Termination Hearings To Be Scheduled

POSTED: 7:01 pm EDT September 20, 2005
UPDATED: 11:04 pm EDT September 20, 2005

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A Columbus middle school principal is facing serious allegations Tuesday, accused of encouraging drinking on school grounds, NBC 4's David Wayne reported.

The case involves Wedgewood Middle School Principal Loy Koeller, who was recently suspended after allegations of inappropriate behavior on school grounds.

Watch The Report

Koeller was accused of permitting and encouraging alcohol use and consuming alcohol on school property during and after school hours. She was also accused of engaging in lewd and inappropriate conduct with a subordinate.

The investigation began in June and wrapped up last week, Wayne reported.

"During that time frame, we had assigned the principal to home. So, the principal was removed from the building," said Greg Viebranz, Columbus Public Schools spokesman. "And what we found during the course of the investigation, was that these allegations were substantiated."

School district officials interviewed 13 witnesses before deciding whether Koeller will be fired. Authorities said termination hearings will be held in the coming weeks.

"Teacher Abbi Terry will keep her job. But she was reprimanded."

WTF! She is allowed to stay and continue teaching? What a joke this school system is - And a bad one at that.

Of course the Columbus Teachers Union will be supporting this miscreant lesbian teacher at full throttle.

I have really given up on our public school system in this country. I finance to the best of my ability the opportunity for my grandchildren to attend private institutions.

Enough is enough. We have lost this battle.

Now teacher terri will have to support her 'principal'. Let's see how long the 'live-in' will last.

"... 10TV attempted to speak to the pair, but no one came to the door."

" Attempts to contact Mannerino by phone and in person failed."

Investigative reporting at it's finest.

She'll probably be elevated to the position of teaching sex education.

For my money this is a very significant story. The last time I looked Ohio was a red state. Although I do not have personal knowlege of the Ohio school system, I know it was not that long ago that its public school system was in order. It is not like you are talking about large urban America where the public schools have always been lacking. This seems to me much worse than these relatively isolated incidents where a teacher is having sex with a student which could happen anywhere. I followed the rape case last year with utter horror. There is something very rotten here and it is systemic. The media needs to bring this story to a national level, but it will not. It is about immorality and homosexuality and criminality and bringing such issues to public light would offend the sodomites, libertines, and criminals that make up the Democrat liberal base that are MSM's puppetmasters.

Even red states have urban areas which typically are very blue. I'd suspect that Columbus probably fits this pattern.

Your point is well taken. Columbus has had a Dim city council but pretty strong republican mayors since the 1960s. The last dim mayor (Senssenbrenner - spelling?) was pretty good. I think he retired around 1968 - possibly in the early 70s. Since then, R mayors straight thru until a couple of years ago. All of a sudden, they couldn't even field a qualified candidate. This has been a mystery to me for some time. Coleman was on the city council and virtually ran unopposed. The republicans fielded a sweet old lady (Dorthy Teeters I think was her name). Nice lady and kind of a behind the scenes politician for years but it was obvious that she had neither the muscle or the heart for a tough campaign.

I don't think they even fielded a candidate the next time around. Coleman is now a machine in Columbus. He strikes me as a slickster.

The republicans nationally are going to be hurt if they don't do something about our 2 senators and the goofy goofball governor. COnservatives are fed up with all three of them. Tired of settling for a woosy R instead of a D. Many will not support the party and the state is ripe for flipping te next election in 2008.

Did I get my point across of how I think its pathetic the R's have given up on Columbus in such a short time?

Fellow teacher and union representative Thomas Mannerino is also said to have drank?

Well, at least someone have drug the truth out of this Mannerino. I hope he don't do it again, least ways not before English class. If he do it one more time, its good buy Columbus!

Lower case appropriate for this AAA. He is out of town accepting the Ray Nagin Award. He does dress better than Ray.
