LOL :) I had just moved to Columbus from WV and let me tell you, it was like I moved to another country and not just another state! I went through a year of hell. It was like they had never seen or heard a person from WV before, much less a 5ft 1 inch redneck female with a short fuse. I had never seen anything like it where I come from. I got sooooooooo tired of them telling me that there is an "O" at the end of Ohio! I still get in trouble with that "tude!" It can come in quite handy at times though! LOL

Reported by Patrick Bell
A Columbus middle school principal has been fired and two teachers landed in trouble following reports of drinking and sex on the job.
Now, theres even more fallout from a district investigation.
Of the 13 Wedgewood Middle School employees who confirm seeing the principal and fellow teachers drinking at school, not one of them told district officials about the behavior.
They even saw inappropriate sexual conduct in the school building, but did not disclose it until being interviewed as part of the district's investigation.
Each employee reports seeing either drinking on the job or inappropriate sexual behavior at work once questioned about it. But no one stepped forward on their own to report the misconduct.
"I think it's pretty difficult when your boss is involved, superintendent Dr. Gene Harris reasoned. That's certainly no excuse. I don't accept that as an excuse."
It turns out the allegations just coming to light date back to mid-2004. That's when colleagues now say now-former principal Loy Koeller began drinking with others at work.
Wedgewood employees also say Koeller was seen engaging in sexual acts during school hours with a married teacher, Abbi Terry.
Ms. Terry has since been reprimanded.
Another teacher, Thomas Mannerino, who resigned Tuesday, was also reported to have been seen numerous times both drinking and possessing alcohol inside the school.
"Our mission is to educate children. Schools are good place. I will not tolerate this kind of misbehavior, Dr. Harris.
As for those 13 teachers who witnessed that behavior: the ones 10TV reached refused to comment. The rest did not return any calls.
I moved here from Huntington in 1971. Boy, I miss my honeysuckle little town. Such good folks in the State of WV.
I'm from about 20 miles away - Louisa, Ky. By the way, my wife took a long weekend trip this summer. One of our stops was Blenko Glass just outside of Huntington. Interesting place.
I remember going to where they made the glass when I was real young. It was a neat place. My brother (he is 10 yrs older than me) had them make me this strange looking, I am not sure what it is. LOL It looks like a huge and long bubble type of thing with eyes and a nose. What was neat was I got to watch them make it.
Five years OSU marching band.......now that is real cool! :)
