I didn't say he stopped giving discounts...
No, you said he "shut it down".
...he also raised the price of tickets so he could offer that discount.
...but I thought you said (post #9): When Bruce Willis bought the resort he cancelled the "Annual Military Day" and basically shut it down to anyone but his closest friends.
Now, which is it? Did he shut it down? Or, is it still open and he's giving military discounts? Which of these makes him the AH?

Loved the 'Wanna breath mint?' line! Die Hard is one of my all-time favorites, and really ushered in the era of the big budget action film. Hans Gruber is one of my favorite villans ever!

Why she left him...a real man....for that little 'not yet dry behind the ears' boy, I'll never know.
..Guess she's as immature as Ashton.
The daughters seem OK so far, but if they idolize their mom...(that's what I heard)...I hope they grow out of it.....and put her silliness in its proper perspective.
They should love her, of course....but she's hardly a role model.

I don't even believe that Soldier Mountain is a Bruce Willis property...
If you look up the whois information for soldiermountain.com, none of the information looks similar to other Bruce Willis owned web properties (brucewillis.com, e.g.).
I won't post the info here, but the whois info for brucewillis.com and soldiermountain.com tell me that if Bruce "owns" Soldier Mountain, it's a partial ownership, if that. The whois for soldiermountain.com _screams_ private _non-celebrity_ ownership.

Soldier Mountain is mentioned as one of his 'Other Endeavors' at his web site on the
biography page.

I didn't say he stopped giving discounts, but he also raised the price of tickets so he could offer that discount. I still refuse to believe that he is a great Hero just because he offers some money to bounty hunters. And I assure you, the military, at least in that area, would love to see him on the front lines in Iraq.Hey, newbie. Why don't you quit digging your hole any deeper? I think it's easy to see who is an asshole on this thread.

I'm now a Rita fan. It took guts to do this on MSNBC of all places.

I've been in Mountain Home many times and don't recall a ski resort this is owned by an outsider. What's the name of the resort and when did he buy it? thanks in advance for the info.

Seargant Al Powell. He had some great lines in that movie.
And, the "Wanna breath mint?" comment was made to actor Paul Gleason, who played Deputy Police Chief Dwayne T. Robinson. Gleason has been in many movies (the Vice Principal in The Breakfast Club, Coach Hisler in Johnny Be Good with Anthony Michael Hall and Robert Downey, Jr., etc). He is always good for some classic one liners.
Classic exchange...
Sergeant Al Powell: Excuse me sir. But what about the body that fell out the window?
Dwayne T. Robinson: Well who knows? Maybe some stockbroker, got depressed.

Bruce Willis is from an earlier era of real Hollywood leading men. He and Mel Gibson are both out of place in today's Hollweird climate-and I'm so glad that they are.

"
He bought out a ski resort near the Mt. Home, ID Air Force base."Just a question.
Where is there a ski resort neat Mt. Home, ID? The place is out in the middle of a sagebrush-covered desert!
