...but a new revolution is about to happen as the old guard of bought political hacks of the Democrats starts to lose favor because the liberal don't give Blacks what they need most, dignity.

And that's the one thing Republicans have always given to them.

Cobra, that is eloquent and moving. Excellent post -- on top of your super-excellent post 31.

That a left media outlet like the Globe reported this story is a good first step to notify the reading public and hopefully black voters. There is now a choice.

I'm glad that he pointed out that he's part of the new generation of black voters.

I wasn't around for the 60's either and I'm tired of politicans who want to relive the past (ie Hillary Clinton, Kerry, and the rest of that bunch).

Special thanks to President Ronald Reagan, specifically with Proposition 48 and the crazy notion that every human has the potential to be beneficial to society.

Nice observations, Kipita!

FReepers have been getting a lot of support from black passers-by at the Walter Reed FReep, something we frankly didn't expect, since the city of DC is so profoundly Democrat. One woman and her husband and group of children stopped and let me explain the situation to the children, including the signs of the anti-war protesters at the gate and our counterprotest signs. It makes you wonder just how monumentally our press is lying to us and fomenting racial trouble where it needn't exist.

by the way, the Rev Jesse Lee Peterson will be on this week's show. I'll be asking him for his take on the Bryant Gumble quote, among a few other things. Feel free to send me questions for him, if you'd like.

Oh, screw it. Just go to Richard Holt's website to see his banner: http://www.teamholt.net/

Richard Holt is a 24-year-old black conservative running in the GOP primary for Ohio's open 6th congressional district. The district gave President Bush 51% in 2004 and is our best open-seat takeover opportunity.

Ask Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson if Debbie Thomas as well as other past (and future) athletes deserved to be trashed by Gumbel's racist slurs.

And ask what we can do to get HBO's attention for an apology from the network to their customers...

Hopefully, we can do well this November.

I heard Herman guest-host on Neal Boortz's show this morning (FRIDAY 2/17). This guy is simply awesome and like the fact he is a tireless supporter of the FAIR TAX (HR25). He was on the air urging listeners to fax Sen.
Isakson and urge him to start supporting HR25. I am hoping that Mr. Cain makes another run at the Senate. We need innovative people like Herman instead of "Dry Wood"
Senators in Washington!!

I am with you on Mr. Cain. I am extremely disappointed how Mr. Isakson won't committ to supporting the Fair Tax idea and how Mr. Isakson won't get behind the majority of Georgians on curbing ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Unless he changes his tune, I am hoping, like you, that he will be a one-termer and people like Herman will take his righful place on Capitol Hill.

I've been reading articles like this for 20 years. During that whole time, blacks have continued voting overwhelmingly Democratic in national elections. In fact, over that time, the black vote has become slightly more Democrat.

Somehow a logo ought to be drawn illustrating this history in, say, a 1 x 5 inch area. Perhaps a large Abe Lincoln holding a hand up against a flotilla of slave ships followed by a group of icons for high points following that.

There is a man who does some yard work for me, he is mentally challenged let's say. I know he will clean yard, wash cars and I have heard that people will stiff him and give him something like $10 for an entire days work. At any rate, I feel like I give him probably give him more than a fair amount. One day driving him home, he asked me if I voted and I said yes, I asked him if he voted and he said yes Democrat, they are for the poor people. I didn't say anything, I figured it is futile, sad though, very sad.

I would try to explain to him that he would keep more of his hard earned money for himself with lower tax rates.

He might not understand income tax rates, but he should understand sales tax rates.

When he buys groceries, he would get more groceries for his money.

This would be a start...
