It would also be interesting to know just how many of these "professors" are mooslim, either mid-eastern or converts.
I have met enough school teachers ,I doubt college professors would surprise me.
Red flags go up for me when I see the media telling me who the "experts" are.
When the media uses the term "experts," that means: No disagreement is allowed.
2nd and 3rd paragraphs - I agree with and you are right about the buildings not being designed for todays jets. Wasn't the biggest plane they had when they built it a DC-3?
The good news here is that at least one professor has acknowledged the existence of God. Now he need to ask for knowledge
I got 5-1 odds that most of the Profs named have DUmmiesscreen names with 1000+ posts.
Gotta laugh at the comment...
"Anyone with half a brain knows that 9-11 was an inside job."
All the half brainers are probably going, 'Yeah man!'
I'm hoping that will work with the NY Slimes.
Great post! Very scientific experiment.
I'm hoping that will work with the NY Slimes.
It was controlled, sophisticated, and clearly very well-thought-out, and I'm sure the notes the scientist took are impeccable.
My main concern is whether you or I could hope to replicate such a complex experiment with any success.
Didn't OJ say that?
Even gasoline would have enough BTUs do do the job. What we had were incendiary bullet s into the guts of building designed to hanle a hit by a plane the size of a 707.
They just has a new "Nova" on this ... The used to think the floor trusses failed and detached
But from testing and looking at video it seem the floor trusses just started to sag as they heated up pulling the outer skin inward till it snapped...
I believed they have be able to see/measure on the video the outer skin columns slowly being pulled inward along a floor line (up to 5 feet in) until the skin columns "pop" along a floor line like a there being unzipped
Jones, Jones, hmmm...
ANY chance that Stephen is related to Alex?
His number one best reason is because the CIA was following Mohammad Atta and testified that he reported Attas actions and requested that the FBI bring him in. This did happen and it was the Gorelick wall that allowed Atta to continue. The same Gorelick that was on the 911 commission.
Yeh, and his areas of specialization are: Metal-catalyzed fusion, Archaeometry, Solar energy. That's right from the BYU Faculty website. None of which has anything to do with structures, mechanics of materials, etc.
IOW, his opinion on the matter is no better than mine. Physics PhD or not. He only teaches a single course, Physics 121, . He's not even the principal instructor for that course, but just teaches one section of it. It Physics 121: Principles of Physics 1 Newtonian mechanics. Generally the first semester physics course for those in science and engineering. I took that course (not at BYU) in the summer of 1969. I also later took separate course in statics and dynamics in the Engineering Mechanics department, which built upon the physics. I actually use the knowledge on a fairly regular basis. However strength of materials is not my area of expertise.
IMHO, he's full of "it".
Maybe a 707. But I believe I heard a designer say they were focused on the impact of a plane but not the explosion of thousands of gallons of fuel.
