When will they rise up against us???I dunno. When I was a younger ARMSF, I routinely hypnotized chickens. There are two methods that I am aware of. NEVER hypnotize a chicken and leave them in the direct sunlight. Ever.
Domesticated turkeys are too dense to come in out of the rain. Geese are the only fowl that could really mount an effective uprising, IMHO.

Yes, I’m worried about chickens worrying…and it worries me that more people won’t be worrying about it as well. So these are her priorities, in descending order: Worrying that more people aren't worrying about chickens worrying; then, chickens worrying; then her own worrying about how chickens are treated.
I'm worred about the poor dear.

I have raised chickens and they have to be the stupidest animal I have ever come into contact with! They don't even learn from experience not to repeat painful behavior, ie, electric fence. I once revived several dead chickens that had drowned after their pen was flooded after prolonged heavy rains. I found them floating lifeless. I picked them up by the feet, shook them , then thumped their chest with my finger and about two thirds of them revived. I might add, that prolonged lack of oxygen to the brain leads to brain damage and from the post drowning behavior of these dimwits, one would not be able to tell one way or the other. Their brain function consists of four things, eat, poop, lay eggs, run away.
