"Where does it say that all these young people leaving are liberals?"

They aren't necessarily. Actually, I have seen articles that the youth have in some cases turned conservative with their views after listening many years to their liberal parents.

I get really sick of FReepers slamming whole states or regions as if there are no good people there at all.

It's not that there are no good people here. Sure my family still here is good and I like to think I'm good and you may be also. But, the ones not lib', elitist, appeasers promoting high taxes are not many.

Oh and the fact that I grew up and live on Long Island means nothing.

What is it supposed to mean? That you're somehow an expert on New England because you live on Long Island?

By your own "logic", that makes YOU a Northeast liberal.

Great point. Plenty of people are leaving New England because they AREN'T liberals and don't like living in liberal New England, something some of the posters here can't seem to grasp, obvious as it is.

Thank you. I get really sick of FReepers slamming whole states or regions as if there are no good people there at all.

I thought it was the libs who plastered people with their feelgood slogans, and that conservatives respected individuality.

Since Ronald Reagan was governor of California, I guess he was a liberal, since all of "them folks" out there are libs, right?

Perhaps you should read this post before you make such a childish statement.

I was in New England at the age of 10 visiting relatives in 1965. Never saw such a bunch of ignorant liberal relatives that worshipped Teddy K. These guys love the Kennedy klan. I was just amazed.

A few years after that the Kopechne case happened, and I am still amazed they stay steafast with Teddy.

Sorry to have to point out that your post doesn't even make the most basic sense. No surprise.

And what, exactly, is childish about "Plenty of people are leaving New England because they AREN'T liberals and don't like living in liberal New England, something some of the posters here can't seem to grasp, obvious as it is."?

Try sticking to the actual discussion instead of running away from it with your pointless defensiveness.

Oh come on. You mean to tell me Boston doesn't have clubs for young adults to go to? This is simply moronic.

You're correct. I live in Boston and work in Cambridge, and someone should tell the authorities behind this article that there are these things called "colleges" in the area which overflow with adults with cash to spend in clubs...of which there are plenty around here.

What are you talking about? The thread theme is the dwindling population in New England and New York is on the edge of New England. The last I checked Long Island is still part of New York State.

Now take your RINO. elitist self and go pout in the corner.

What are YOU talking about--you can't even look back and see the posts I replied to. My point is that not everyone in these states is a liberal--your saying that you live on Long Island BY ITSELF proves MY point--unless you're admitting you're a liberal.

Now take your RINO. elitist self and go pout in the corner.

The last refuge of the FReeper who's lost an argument and made a fool of himself and can't back out.

Darkwolf's comment which elicited a response from libill:

You're kidding right. Even the RINO's in New England are Lib's,,,lol

Oh and the fact that I grew up and live on Long Island means nothing.

Darkwolf377 responds: Nice try spinning your way outta this one, pal--you live on Long Island, claim that makes you an expert on New England? And when called on it, you claim you weren't even talking about New England?

Game, set, match, Loser! lol!

What does that have to do with your previous comment to me when I was talking about NEW ENGLAND?

Nice try--why not just admit you're wrong, which you are? Oh, right, you're from Long Island... ;)

Would gay marriage chase a few normal families out? I think so.

I'm pretty sure you are. In a public school.

I'm sure the sky high cost of housing & living and tax rates in these socialist utopias have nothing to do with it.

Doesn't everyone in their early 20's have 500 thousand for a typical entry level home in these New England markets?
