That's a long time ago. Africa and South America had just begun to seperate at that time. They've been moving apart at about the same rate as your fingernails grow ever since.

Can't help but notice that Conan the Cimmerian must have been a REAL GOOD swimmer - being the "Cimmeria" is in the middle of the "Paleo-Tethys Ocean".
