~~Anthropogenic Global Warming ping~~
See? Global warming is so powerful that it even creates volcanos! There were no volcanos before the evil internal-combustion engine was created and now, thanks to capitalism, the earth’s surface will soon be covered in lava. I think this could be the theme of Al Gore’s next movie.
Personally, I think tofu is a culprit in glacier melting. Also skateboarding - that causes 37% of it. And sushi, there’s another 4%.
Nah, ya think?
Thanks Reform Canada.

Just kidding. I'd love to go to Iceland someday. Just finished reading "Red Storm Rising" for about the 6th time. I love the names of all the places. We knew a couple from Reykjavik when hubby was in Grad School. They were the nicest folks.

Pine Island Glacier, which is a very small area of the whole continent, is the ONLY part of Antarctica that is melting!

You mean, you mean, that eeeeevil man might not be responsible? How dare you suggest that nature might be involved? (/sarc)
I heard an interview months ago where the scientist said that there has been an increase in undersea volcanic activity way up there that has been warming the water
