Just with what's been going on around the globe this year = doesn't portend well.
Usually, if one side is getting record cold/warm/snow/heat = the other side is getting the opposite.
This year, everyone is getting slammed with the big freeze - record snows/cold for all areas of the states - coldest winter in 30 years in Afghanistan.
Just damn. I think it's time for a class action suit against Gore for Breach of Promise. Actually, where are the stories questioning Gore's crap in the face of what's happening?

Good thing we are prepared and have been dumping CO2 into the atmosphere.

Yes, but will we bad humans create enough warming to offset the global cooling? So it will it all be OK and we can “move on” and worry about REAL stuff now?
I’m gonna call Big Al and get permission first before I turn on the furnace, or is it the AC?

OK folks, lets put our brains together.
We need to figure out how to plausibly blame this on America, Big Business, and George W Bush.</sarcasm>

Back in the 1970’s a new ice age was all the rage like global warming is now. Gee, do i wear shorts or thermal long johns??

Maybe this will give us a little time to fix global warming.

This is because when the magnetic activity is low, the Sun is dimmer, and puts out less radiant warmth. If the Sun goes into dim mode, as it has in the past, the Earth gets much colder. but, but, but the planet has a FEVER!!

Frost fair on the Thames, 1683...the Maunder Minimum.
The Dalton Minimum of 1800 to 1810 was that period when Napoleon had his unfortunate encounter with the Russian winter.

Flux Density Values so low they will mean a mini ice age if they continue.... Can't Ben Bernanke prevent this by lowering interest rates just one more time?
... oh wait, I guess that's a different mechanism...

We have been joking around coffee that we may be seeing the Sun about to shut down... Political cartoon from the 1970s had a black suited, and sunglassed EPA nazi getting ready throw water on the Sun because they determined it caused cancer.
