Seems Mercury's magnetosphere shows a surprisingly low value as compared to 33 years ago (when it was last taken).

This means the Sun's magnetic flux is weaker Fur Shur.

Right now the folks in Central China where it hasn't snowed in a hundred years and they're up to their ears in the fluffy stuff would be happy to hear that next year may be really different so maybe they'd like to move somewhere else!

We saw snowmen and snowball fights in Jerusalem.

Unlike the goofy climate models of the global warming crowd this is an easily observable change in the Sun’s overall output. There is a small but credible chance we are about to undergo a new “mini ice age”. Past periods coincide with similar observations of the Sun’s output.

On a personal level, I see the humor in mankind getting frantic about global warming only to be hammered by global cooling.

Maybe this will give us a little time to fix global warming.

That would be great!

No, but the 1812 Overture is still available on CD, so you can play it any time.

Now THAT'S Music.

That can’t be right. Only man-made activity could ever effect the overall temperature of the air at the earth’s surface.

The sun is nothing more than a medium sized star. What possible effect could a star have on the temperatures of the planets surrounding it?

Just to be on the safe side, we should combat the perfidy of this star. Our only hope is to increase the level of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

I say we start leaving our vehicles running in the driveway 24/7. In fact, we should remove the ignition switches in all our vehicles.

To boot, we should feed chili to cows, goats, horses, and even zoo animals. We need all of the methane we can generate, and we need it now before Central America becomes as temporate as San Francisco.

We should also increase our dependence on Saudi and Venezuelan crude as soon as we can. They will be located in very mild and inviting climates within the next few years, and would make excellent allies.

There was some real scholarly work done in Time magazine back in the 70’s on global cooling. Melting the ice caps was a brilliant idea, and we should begin polluting Antarctica with millions of pounds of ash as soon as we possibly can.

I got my Oscillation Over-thruster at the ready.

Just don't use an Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator.

Does this mean we won’t broil in our own sweat this summer?
When it’s 95 degrees here in the swamp, with 100% humidity,we look FORWARD to an ‘Ice Age’. Is there a start date? Can it begin on the equator, huh, can it??
First Ice Age party at my house- everyone is invited!
( Unless we’re under water before then.)
