It's mind boggling that the Clintons are willing to destroy the entire Democratic Party, and potentially in the process lose the White House and seats in Congress, for their own selfish thirst for power and glory. It's only mind boggling that ANYONE doesn't realize that destroying the entire Democratic Party is only the BEGINNING of what the clintons are willing to destroy for their insatiable quest for total dominion over the political scene of America...achieving those goals would thus give them unchecked influence over the entire world.
I think there is nothing those two would not do to make this happen.

The word on the street is that the Obama campaign and New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg have already met and devised an incredible plan if Clinton wins the nominee. Mayor Bloomberg would give nearly $1 billion to Obama's campaign after which Obama would bolt from the Democratic Party and run as an Independent candidate with king-maker Bloomberg as his running mate. I strongly doubt this.

It was the fact that Armstrong Williams authored this piece that compelled me to post it. Like you, I have admired his work myself. It's an intriguing scenario to say the least.

......His 3rd party candidacy proposal was silliness in my opinion.....
That depends on his objective.
I assume it is to eliminate the possibility of a President Hillary rather than actually win the office.
The question I think should be.... Will Obama gain?
Perhaps it would strengthen his chances for a second shot in 2012.

A blilion$$$ is a small price for destroying Hillary Clinton.Totally agree.
If I had few extra billion lying around I cannot think of a better way to benefit the world than destroying the clintons and having the best time of my life at the same time. ;^)

Agree with your BS meter. Isn’t the Democrat convention in August? There is not enought time to start a new indpendent party between August and November.

The Clintons are willing to do far, far more than "...destroy the entire Democratic Party, and potentially in the process lose the White House and seats in Congress..." for their own selfish thirst for power and glory. Yeah, like destroying the entire country--which they have already gotten a good start.
Such a scenario would guarantee a Republican win, IMO.

Even more astounding than Clintons backstabbingAstounding to whom? Everyone with one eye and a grain of sense has known for years that Hillary will do ANYTHING to get her way.
If the above scenario does come true, with the Hildebeast winning the nomination by hook and by crook and Obama bolting from the party, that would leave conservatives free to bolt from the GOP and McCain and support a more palatable candidate.
This is turning out to be a VERY interesting year.

I've been suggesting for weeks around here that Obama might run as an independent. The delicious irony of Hillary! losing the same way Bill won would be more than could have ever been imagined a year or so ago.

Oh what a great sideshow/soap opera. Bubba’s blow ups, Hildabeast the victim. Tearing up on cue. Just wish it could be in slow motion. Their chicanery at the convention IE seating the disqualified delegates, and back room payola with the not so Super unelected delegates, will be considered “keeping a brother down”.
After the self destruct of the Clinton's comes the blame game. Bubba will be the focus of the loss. In the final chapter Hilda gives Bubba the boot.
The Clinton’s are much better than the soaps. Who could script such a drama.
