HMMMMM..........
I have noticed a lot more hair growing on my body lately.
I think I'm evolving in response to the global temperature decline.

"If the temperature does not soon recover, we will have to conclude that global warming is over."
Albore won the Nobel Peace Prize, billions of people immediately heeded his siren song, and we stopped global warming in its tracks!!! Yippee!

If the tempeture were to drop to 30 degress and stay there all summer, the GOREbal warming crowd will blame it on GOREbal warming.

The ~1000Y sinusoidal variance of our climate is reasonably clear from the Senate 2005 climate reconstructions shown below. We are indeed due for another 800 years of colder weather.
Maybe an fully glaciated ice age, but I certainly expect the Thames to freeze in Winter in ~ 400 years time.

Ice Age? PROMISE??????
No more 100 degree+, 9 month long summers with 100% humidity?
No more grass growing 1ft overnite that you have to mow in the heat or be buried?
No more giant flying roaches?
No more leaving a puddle where you stand, cars that reach baking temperatures and mold?
No more tropics to spawn giant killer hurricanes?
This is BAD news???
Not from where I sit! I’d like to get it in writing, and get a start date! Ice Age....oooooooh, I’m gonna love it!

We need to start digging up more gas, and reduce our MPG to 15 or lower. No car manufaturer should be making hybrids if they care about the global temperature fluctuations.

I’m just glad that I have double-coated dogs. They’ll survive just fine in the blizzards. Chihuahuas will have to move south, I guess. ;o)

I live just south of the terminal moraine from the last big one (Long Island is part of that terminal moraine -- the pile of dirt and rubble that the edge of the glacier pushes along in front of it).
The science fiction novel Fallen Angels by Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle & Michael Flynn deals with environmentalist (and religious) Luddites bringing about a new ice age by stopping Global Warming. Unfortunately, the free download from Baen Books is missing the end of the book where they talk about the science informing it.

Global warming would increase the amount of arable land. An ice age will definitely decrease it. The current food shortages are driven by high oil prices and silly use of biofuels. A decrease in crop production from an ice age isn't so easily overcome.
The few observable sunspots are the end of cycle 23 along the equator of the sun. A very few number of cycle 24 sunspots have been observed at very high latitudes. The small numbers of sunspots are similar to conditions observed during the last "little ice age" and Maunder minimum. Let's hope it's a fluke.

“There is no doubt that the next little ice age would be much worse than the previous one and much more harmful than anything warming may do. There are many more people now and we have become dependent on a few temperate agricultural areas, especially in the US and Canada. Global warming would increase agricultural output, but global cooling will decrease it.”
We are about 1,000 years overdue for the next little ice age. Global warming fanatics aren’t just wrong, they are frighteningly wrong and may well get millions killed with their stupidity.

Are we soon to have ice to a depth of 1.5 kilometers covering much of North America and Europe? Could Al Gore be mistaken about what the future holds? Being that even with all that has happened in the world -weather wise, Hansen & the boys at the NOAA still claimed March 2008 was the 2nd warmest month ever, which shows in order to keep the Global Warming gravey train going they will just make up what ever numbers they need to.
So I'm afraid it's going to take ice sheet roaring down must of North America to break to socialist global warming grip.

And increase the need for heating fuels
