JC seemed a little thin-skinned when he let Rumsfeld get him angry and leave office over it.

Anybody want to seriously argue that Obama would be anywhere in politics (AT ALL!!!) if he weren’t black?

He certainly would not have been able to get into that State Senate seat in IL if he wasn’t black. And this blackness made it possible for him to win that uncontested US Senate seat. And without him being black, he would just be John Edwards with big ears.

So what, pray tell, is a good reason for JC, Amstrong or John McWhorther to vote for a guy who advocates socialism? He is black. End of story. Nothing else matters. He could appoint OBL as his Secretary of Defense and black voters would still show up and vote for him and so would the youth vote.

It’s mind-numbing. Only Obama can lose this election. McCain cannot win it because McCain is a potted plant. It’s all about Barry Hussein. Either Barry can slip by for another six months or he gets caught. But nothing about John McCain matters.

I like Armstrong, but what he has admitted makes him a racist, no matter who he ends up voting for.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of black conservatives who are showing themselves not to be the latter.

Stand up and judge the man on the content of his character.

Thats what we are trying to do with so little to work on. His record as Senator is pure crap, and that is more important to me. As for the taxes, he is sadly a liberal left nut and for the war, he will never get the threat the world faces.

Starting to find out what people are really made of.

And sometimes it's a real eye-opener... the shallowness is almost sickening.

I commented on this in another thread earlier today...

Martin Luther King, Jr. is rolling over in his grave right about now (I don’t think he gets much rest, really)...

It is absolutely disgusting that a man would vote based purely on skin color versus content of character... They should be ashamed of themselves - and for those who won’t come out and say these things publicly - they are even worse!!! Closet racists the lot of them...

If the shoe were on the other foot, and white people said something like this about voting for McCain over Obama they’d be shouting about racism - and rightly so! But, of course, it’s not racism when an African-American says and does things like this - oh, no... it CAN’T be racism! What a crock... And, how incredibly sad.

Obama has already done so much damage to race relations - the great “uniter” - yeah, right!

So to them the color of Obama's skin is more important than the content of his character.,br>
Sorry, MLK. I guess your ideas took very shallow root.

I knew Watts was going to support obama when he was on Hannity’s show months ago. I mentioned it on a Hannity thread and some FReeper said I was imagining it. Wish I had the time to find who that person was.

You can coat the pig with all the gold you want, this is racism pure and simple. Think of all the principles even these conservatives would sacrifice, for skin color. Absolutely disgusting. I would NEVER vote for a Clinton over a black conservative but supposedly I belong to the racist race.

He is more white than black.

Not genetically.

Stand up and judge the man on the content of his character.

There is no content. As Obama made painfully clear in his book, all is surface.

As the two major political parties become more alike, this kind of politics will be the norm.

Since the GOP appears to moving left, ideology will no longer be a reason to vote for someone. Sooooo....identity politics, charisma, looks, are about all that is left.

He doesn't like his policies, he doesn't like much anyhting he advocates, and yet he feels history has thrust him into a position to vote for him anyway?

If he does, given what he has said, then he is not a true conservative, a true patriotic American, or anyone with much integrity or virtue.

He is saying that he is willing to vote against his own core values and what he thinks is best for America purely because of race. That marks him as unfaithful to this country and as a racist himself IMHO. How sad...how sick.

Same for Watts or anyone else who casts a vote for such reasons, though I will only believe this of Watts when he announces it himself.

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH ABOUT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

“It’s not as if McCain is compelling enough from their perspective to ignore history.”

Obama’s espousing pure marxist ideology should be though - particularly to black conservatives. They should be the ones standing up against him, not supporting him simply because he is of mixed-race!

If they can’t see the threat Obama poses to our nation, then maybe they should stop calling themselves conservatives! To support outright marxism is not conservative in the least!

Convince me that people don't vote on SKIN COLOR!

Here you have Watts, supposedly a “conservative” potentially voting for Obama solely on SKIN COLOR. Now Watts is still for affirmative action - SKIN COLOR so I kind of understand however if Watts is truthful, any of Obama’s OTHER stances should he appalling to him - YET, he is memorized by SKIN COLOR. How disappointing. It makes me wonder ... is Watts really that shallow? Is he willing to throw values and principles under the bus for SKIN COLOR? What a disappointment ... . Was Watts really that principled and family valued to begin with or was that a charade too?

Bingo! I despise Cuomo. The difference is no one wants to acknowledge that politics and culture have turned black Americans into racists of the first order (in general). It’s all about race, race, race. “The white man did this, the Asians don’t belong in our neighborhood, blacks deserve this. Racism top to bottom.” And I believe this will get much WORSE during an Obama presidency. Obama will likely be a disaster, and blacks will blame this on racism.

"Among black conservatives," Williams said, "they tell me privately, it would be very hard to vote against him in November."

"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today." ...... Martin Luther King

Sorry, Dr. King. Very few in the black community are listening.

I can see being glad that a barrier has been broken. But to vote for a candidate based on the color of his skin is racism, pure and simple.
