Every time I exhale I produce the dreaded carbon I read in a book last night that the worms and other soil critters in one acre of dirt produce more CO2 than 50,000 humans. So I say: go fishing!

The new data call into question whether scientific evidence shows that global warming is a man-made phenomenon and suggests that natural forces, as opposed to human activity, may drive global climate change. So does the old data, virtually without exception.
Anyone with half a brain and access to the climate records of the last 400,000 years (or 10,000,000) can see for themselves that although man must certainly have an impact, as does every living thing, it is so minuscule as to be pragmatically zero.
Why does this continue to be "news?"
Isn't 400,000 years enough to make it 'same ol'-same-ol'?"

The Sun changes the temperature by factors as large as 10 or 20 times every day, as night time turns to daytime, so how it can be ignored as the largest factor is insane.
Only if it put out a constant amount of radiation, could it be ignored.

Thats why the IPCC should never be viewed as a scientific manual. It was created for the sole purpose of supporting
the notion of human-induced climate change [political, centralized world-wide social and economic manipulation].There.
Fixed it for them.

The Sun changes the temperature by factors as large as 10 or 20 times every day, as night time turns to daytime, Actually it doesn't. 2F to 4F is not a doubling of the actual temperature, just the value on the Fahrenheit scale, offset from absolute zero by 273.15 degrees. A change from 0F to 27F represents about a 10% increase.

Even though it took two hours, I read the full report by Singer and the NIPCC; every major inconsistency is pointed out in detail and described and every bit of trickery in the IPCC assessments is disclosed showing full well that the whole thing is a political device and not a scientific analysis of even the available data.
AGW lives only in the mind of the models.

Living in the desert, and camping all through the year, I have seen major temperature swings. For example, I have seen day time highs over 100 degrees swing to night time lows of 19. If the CO2 concentration was 280ppm, how much lower would the temperature have gone? In the low humidity you can literally feel the temperature plummet, in the winter it can go from a pleasant 50 degrees to a chilly 30 within seconds after the sun sets...I would rather have a cloudy night, than a thick CO2 night anytime

New scientific evidence suggests there is a stronger link between solar activity and climate trends on Earth than there is with greenhouse gases To be filed in the "Do bears $#!t in the woods", or the "Is the Pope Catholic", or "Does the Sun rise in the east" files.

There is now little doubt that solar-wind variability [streams of ionized gases that radiate out from the sun] is the primary cause of climate change on a decadal time scale, Singer said. To tie in with this, a weakening of the earth's magnetic field would almost certainly play a role, wouldn't it?
Study: Earth's magnetic field is changing

Sorry for butting in, but I believe what crazycat meant by "as large as 10 or 20 time every day" means "as large as 10 or 20 times the 1 or 2 degree C temperature rise attributed to anthropogenic global warming".
Incidentally, it is not the sun itself which produces these changes from day to night, but the rotation of the Earth on its axis. ;-)
Cheers!
