I never realized my aunt who works in a furniture store is rich, but she must be since she has a tanning bed.

Keep it up Libs, the hysteria is only helping the cause.

They’re probably going to blame Trig’s handicap on her exposing herself to radiation. Here it comes...

>> Tanning beds can cost up to $35,000 to install in a home — not including parts, Alaska-based Color Me Tan manager Erin Weise told the Narco News.

This is BS. A few minutes of web research shows that even a very good bed can be had for around $5000. You’d need a 220V 40A dedicated circuit — add, I dunno, $2000? That’s a conservative estimate — I put in a 220V circuit for my welder for a hundred bucks. It ain’t rocket surgery.

Total: WAY less than $10,000 for a top of the line install — INCLUDING parts.

On a budget, it could be had for much less.

The military installs sunlamps in northern tier bases and submarines because vitamin D is good for you.

“Real guy husband Todd probably hauled in his pick-up, carted it in with the help of his son, and plugged it in to an outlet in a corner of some unused room.”

Ordinary folks getting stuff done with their own dough.

Contrast with the ultrawealthy Pelosi, who dings her customers for an extravagent jet.

Studies have shown that regular exposure to UVA and UVB rays not only gives you vitamin D but can also help treat depression and mood disorders. Considering Alaska can have months of little to no sunlight this seems like a good choice.

Also it is her money who cares what she does with it. John Kerry can spend thousands on a bike for a photo op and no one cares.

If Clinton had thought of having one installed in the White House, he could have rented it out as a $10,000 per visit upgrade to the Lincoln Bedroom sleepover fundraisers.

I’m surprised they didn’t headline it with “Sarah Palin, Running-Mate to Cancer-Stricken John McCain, Promotes Skin Cancer With Tanning Bed in Governor’s Mansion.

Los Angeles is "concerned" about someone having a tanning bed???!!! And I know plenty of "average" people who have them (not me, my slogan is "pale is the new tan")

And USED tanning beds do NOT cost $35,000.

And they can be installed for the same price of installing an electric dryer.

I am sure the commercial quality ones that run 8-12 hours a day cost $35,000 but a home unit which would be used maybe 1-2 per month per family member is going to be a lot cheaper.

"Next up for the LA Times - Biden's hairplugs. Right?"

LOL

You can bet that the MSM would be publishing all over the place if they could find someone in Alaska that would say "she got a tattoo on her......"

At least she has hair on her head, rather than dyed Zoysia grass.

"STAND UP, CHUCK !"

WTF!?
How can the MSM write such garbage to insult our intelligence?

Keep writing this sh-t as everyday you are converting more voters to the McCain/Palin ticket.

Yet the MSM gives zero coverage to Barry O and his ties to Bill Ayers, code pink campaign donors, etc.
