Someone who is not a member of either major political party because both parties are too far to the left.

He can call himself whatever he wants. It’s not like the term “conservative independent” is trademarked. I would think that “quisling” or “Vichy Republican” would be more appropriate terms to use when describing an alleged conservative who has decided to curry favor with the BHO camp.
