Make November 3rd, 2008 a Day of Prayer for our Nation

Agree 100%...and, of course, millions and millions are praying with us each day. I thought that we might recognize November 3rd, the day before the election, as a day where we knowingly join together in the exact ame purpose.

...we need to pray like everything depends on God in Heacen (it does), and then work hard right through the crisis like it depends on us (because He does and will use us as instruments in His hands).

I have not stopped praying since Aug 29. The attacks we saw launched against Gov. Palin that week revealed the absolute evil of the opposing side.

Just for a few days the mask slipped off, and all of America was watching. God presented us with a clear choice between Good and Evil.

Starting on Monday I will begin a fast that will not end until Wednesday. I will be praying that God’s will be done - not that McCain be elected. We are a nation that has turned its back on God, why would God not discipline us? I hope McCain wins but we might need to go through some very hard times to appreciate Gods mercy and bounty to America, which is what we had when this country was founded.

Amen my FRiend. He has let us all see exactly what the choices are...and He has provided friends in Sarah and Joe who are taking heat for the cause of liberty...but who are resolutely soldiering on through it.

God bless you and yours for your faith and your prayers. I know they rise up to Heaven on wings of Angels and are heard and answered in the courts on high.

May we all continue in that spirit, may we all join together, as Freeper philman_36 pointed out, in one accord petitioning God to smile upon us and reveal His mighty Arm and confound these enemies who would destrou all we hold dear.

Millions and millions have not turned their backs on God, but like you (and God bless you for your prayer and fast) are supplicating Him for His guidance and help.

He was prepared to save Sodom and Gomorah for the sake of fifty. I believe, and am petitoning Him with all my heart that He preserve America for the sake of tens of millions.

Who knows that He will not? I know He can, and pray He will, but am prepared in all things to accept His will and keep on working whatever the outcome, patiently waiting for His arm to be revealed.

We are on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade in this nation. A,long hard struggle that many of us have waged for 35+ years. I pray and seek God's aid in keeping that from happening and in stopping that slaughter for His sake. Perhaps He shall hear and honor our prayers of humilty and faith.
