Appreciate the sentiment...but do we have to abuse the flag in this manner? Isn’t there another way?
What hurts most isn’t the liberal politicians, it’s seeing the depraved people in my family, church, neighborhood, Catholic university, and country for what they are.
They didn’t give us Obama as much as Obama revealed who they were, and what our society now mostly is.
That is short sighted. Do we want to build a movement or just get an "I told you so" in.
Conservatives are going to be presented with numerous teachable moments over the next 4 years. How we handle these will determine if the movement can once again arise or be relegated to permanent minority status.
It is highly likely that one of these friends will, for example, complain about high electricity bills. When they do your response should be one of genuine surprise. Simply state that you thought they were in favor of higher bills and cleaner air since Obama promised sky high bills prior to his election. Teach them that change has consequences.
Do not blow these opportunities to convert.

As Mark Levine says, you can’t fix stupid. I tried fixing stupd people this time around. Not only was it a waste of time, they turned on me like rabid dogs or played the victim role as if talking logically was cruel and unusual punishment. Their pea brains can only handle hate for Bush and Palin, and faith in Obama.
I do have one employee that is an Obama supporter.
I am going to give everyone a bonus, but him.
I think I will warn my acquaintances who bring it up that I will be noting every time Pres Hussein proves he’s the socialist he is, from staffing choices to platform to tax increases to nationalized this and nationalized that.

As long as you are a willing vessel for God, He will use you as He sees fit. If He has an appointed time to use you to reach these friends/family, He will. Your faith belongs in Him.
However, the Bible also has quite a bit to say about God letting people go. Think of the prodigal...when that son wanted to cash in and leave, the father let him. Sometimes, as much as it seems somehow wrong, we simply have to let people go and spread the light and news to those who are receptive.
The issue of the election is over. There is no need for additional discussion about it. Whether we like it or not, the people have spoken. I don’t see the need for continued discussion about it with them, unless that is simply a ruse and a passive-aggressive attempt at gloating.
The shoe is on the other foot now. For eight long years I've had to listen to you badmouth Bush over every little thing he did.

Exactly — Obama supporting family members and “friends” are dead to me, too. They can pound sand, oh, and they should not expect any more loans/gifts, either.
