The officer in charge of this (son of the chief). His name is? His telephone number is? His badge name is? The mayors name is? The City Council members names are? Contact numbers and email addresses?
Come on Jarhead get us the Intel so we can raise a ruckuss.
Every Marine and veteran I talk with is totally outraged. I do plan to get this to the local newspaper, as well.
Story is also posted here at the Vallejo Topix forum:

It will receive much local exposure.
Nope, I don’t believe he ever came NEAR my Marine Corps.
Did you post it? Doesn’t show.
It’s there.
I’ve seen plenty of vanities on FR over my ten years. But this one is one that puts in sharp relief the utter depravity of what has become of this country......
You, Sir, were right to post this and I for one will be contacting that scum bag and put as much pressure I can to show him he fu-ked with the wrong Marine........and I urge all freepers to do the same........Semper Fi
Not a marine myself.. I am retired air force..
But I would love to help!
Way to go.
If you’re short on time, write and OpEd and email and/or fax it over to your local newspaper.

This sort of written, recorded correspondence usually fixes problems very quickly.
I know its not their normal fare, but maybe a call to the ACLU is worth a dime.
I wouldn’t think a bankrupt city would be asking for a boycott.
Chesty Puller only had three stars, but it looks like this “chief” has four. He must be some kind of leader!
Semper Fi!
I see that this city has a City Manager form of government. This means that the City Manager is the chief officer of the executive branch, and the boss of the Chief of Police. (I wonder what political parties they belong to.)
City Managers are not elected by the citizens. They are appointed by the City Council. The Mayor is a ceremonial figure, presides over the council meetings, and is the tie breaking vote.
I see that there’s no Veterans’ Affairs office.
Do you live there? If so, contacting your Councilmember is another option.
Try contacting the Chief of Police first, and the City Manager’s office next.
Semper Fi.....
First thank you for your service. I think you Marines have a term for this guy F.U.
I would love to go the Veterans Day celebrations, but I have to work.
If you work for the city, tell him to try to fire you.
