I know a lot of geologists.

A few are more or less PC types, but the vast majority laugh oud loud at the AGW nonsense.

“Government science” is one of them “jumbo shrimp” thingies. ;^)

Schmitt was a US Senator from New Mexico. He was a good guy who didn’t like the limelight.

Reading the whole thing, about future manned Lunar and Mars missions, got me thinking.

There has to be a desired outcome of such exploration.

Personally, I think both radio and optical interferometer telescopes on the far side of the moon would be a great use of manpower on the moon.

As for Mars, I think it should be our laboratory for advanced robotics.

Then he should press for the firing of that idiot Hansen at NASA.

Politicians know it’s BS, but they still push it because it gives them a lot more power.

By this point in time, anyone who buys the “we better do something NOW or the sky will fall!” in regards to anything should have his voter reg. card taken away.

I read Michael Crichton’s book, “State of Fear”, and it was excellent! God bless his soul, he was a good and honest man.

“Anyone who still buys Algore’s “global warming” scam really is an idiot. “The Truth Is Out There.” All they have to do is read it.”

I agree, FlingWingFlyer. “Global Warming” is a political cult, in my opinion. Hundreds of scientists have disputed the so-called “science” behind the global warming scare but people never hear about that. To their detriment, they are getting all of their news from the MSM or other political stooges with an agenda to sell.

Well I guess we can consign one of the 12 men who walked on the Moon down the 'Media Memory Hole" for his 'incorrect' thoughts.

Just because he has degrees in science does not give him the authority to contradict The Al Gore or the Hollywood climate experts!

The MSM has spoken. It's Green Week at NBC. Heir Oberman was driven to work in a bio diesel limo today and Crissy rode his tricycle. They are sacrificing so it's only fair that you freeze and starve to match their compassion for Gia.

I’ve seen the movie “In the Shadow of the Moon,” but is there a definitive book about the Apollo program and/or of the astronaut’s experience of traveling to, walking on, and returning from the Moon?

Which Hansen? Is Lauri Hansen related to James Hansen? Lauri was over the Altair project and has been booted up the chain. (so to speak) She was awful. NASA is a risk averse bureaucratic mess, and we would have never made it to the moon the first time if the folks running things now were in charge then.
