The publisher claims the changes have been made to reflect the fact that Britain is a modern, multicultural, multifaith society.

What have you done? THOUSANDS of years of building and rebuilding, creating and recreating so that you can let it crumble to dust! A million years, the sensitive men dying for their dreams, for WHAT? So you can... swim, and... dance and... PLAY!?

More reasons to homeschool. A small percentage of children not dumbed down, demoralized down, and degraded down may not change the world, but even a small percentage of righteous people who can think and reason and have a strong moral compass can do great good, at the very least for their own circle of family and acquaintances. And that's how the world changes for the better - with people striving for goodness individually.

Funny - on the one hand, there are the radical enviro-wackos who worship the earth itself as god, and on the other hand, there are the (what to call them?) urban secularists who hate nature - maybe because when out in nature, some children - or adults - might wonder "Who made all this?" Plus a loner who takes walks in the woods and fields might not be as easy to hypnotize and indoctrinate. And must erase all British tradition to make way for Islamic domination!

Here is a list from the link of some removed words:

Carol, cracker, holly, ivy, mistletoe

Dwarf, elf, goblin

Abbey, aisle, altar, bishop, chapel, christen, disciple, minister, monastery, monk, nun, nunnery, parish, pew, psalm, pulpit, saint, sin, devil, vicar

Coronation, duchess, duke, emperor, empire, monarch, decade

adder, ass, beaver, boar, budgerigar, bullock, cheetah, colt, corgi, cygnet, doe, drake, ferret, gerbil, goldfish, guinea pig, hamster, heron, herring, kingfisher, lark, leopard, lobster, magpie, minnow, mussel, newt, otter, ox, oyster, panther, pelican, piglet, plaice, poodle, porcupine, porpoise, raven, spaniel, starling, stoat, stork, terrapin, thrush, weasel, wren.

Acorn, allotment, almond, apricot, ash, bacon, beech, beetroot, blackberry, blacksmith, bloom, bluebell, bramble, bran, bray, bridle, brook, buttercup, canary, canter, carnation, catkin, cauliflower, chestnut, clover, conker, county, cowslip, crocus, dandelion, diesel, fern, fungus, gooseberry, gorse, hazel, hazelnut, heather, holly, horse chestnut, ivy, lavender, leek, liquorice, manger, marzipan, melon, minnow, mint, nectar, nectarine, oats, pansy, parsnip, pasture, poppy, porridge, poultry, primrose, prune, radish, rhubarb, sheaf, spinach, sycamore, tulip, turnip, vine, violet, walnut, willow

'Great' Britain is lost. They've committed suicide.

More and more it looks like we saved their butt in WWII for nothing. Or at the least, considering this is Dec 7th, we should have concentrated on Japan and the Pacific and let the chips in Europe fall where they may.

All our European ally countries have went to hell. To boot we helped enslave tens of millions to the yoke Communism. Some 'win'.

The Brits would say that they saved their own butt in WW-II, and that you showed up to the party late, just like you did to the previous one. And they’d be right.

Uncle Joe would have enjoyed that immensely.

That's funny. And a good bit of revisionist history.

So sorry, England was lucky. Lucky that WE saved their butt. And save it WE did.
But the Brits were luckier still that Hitler was incompetent. If the Luftwaffe would have stayed on course during the Battle of Britain with the bombing of airfields for two-three more weeks GB would have fell. Fighter Command was almost out of pilots, and out of fighter planes (Spitfires and Hurricanes). The change to Bombing London gave them the chance they needed to rest, repair and regroup. They were also lucky when Hitler called off the U-Boat Wolf Pack attacks of shipping convoys. A few more weeks of that would have starved GB into submission.
So, was it really worth it for the USA?
All the costs, all the wounded, the lives lost or wasted by stupidity and egos -- and again the millions that wre surrendered to Communism. All so England (and Europe) can go to hell in a hand basket.

Sometimes I wonder.

> That’s funny. And a good bit of revisionist history.

Americans seem to have persuaded themselves that they won WW-II all by themselves, when in fact they were a part of a much larger team. And they showed up late to the game, long after kickoff.

That’s not revisionism, that’s the plain fact. America wouldn’t have entered the war at all if the Japs hadn’t bombed Pearl Harbor.

So pretending that the US “saved everyone else” is just nonsense: America went to war (late) because America was attacked by the Axis. In other words, it wasn’t altruism, it was self-interest.

I know that’s not how your movies teach WWII but that is how it was.

Obviously you are a Brit and upset at Muslims running your nation.

It great to see Brits like your self in the UK fighting the good fight!

I get the ideological motivation to erase any mention of Christianity, but what gives with all the environment-related deletions? Wouldn’t the leftists want to leave those in, so they could properly chastise capitalism for allegedly destroying every inch of green space in the world?
