Any comment from Patrick Duffy?
HA!
Genesis 6 ping.
Bikini Bottom?
What browser are you using? I’m using Firefox.
Atlantis was supposed to be built around a central mountain in concentric circles. This looks like it might possibly be a ‘burb, though. Seems to be connected to another pattern with a possible pyramid 250 miles East. Atlantis was supposed to be 2500 (possibly 250 miles West of Egypt). I noticed the pattern a while back when reading about USS Block Island, which sank just to East of formation. Hard to believe nobody has noticed it yet.
Giant tubeworms?
Crystals
IE. Might explain it.
Right. That could be the problem.
Genesis 6 indeed. :-)
MM
Actually Atlantis is giant space ship right now in Galaxy Far Far Away..
LOL! Then this must be Bikini Bottom! :)
They are false canyons added by Professor David Sandwell, a geophysicist with the Scripps Institute of Oceanography to track bathymetric data usage. He did similar overlays to the Google database in other places in the ocean including large letters, other lattice work, etc. Sorry, guys... Keep looking.
It is the size as Wales, which is 8000 sq mi. That’s roughly 90x90 miles. There appears to be 8 to 10 ‘streets’ in both directions, making them roughly 10 miles apart.
The location is 3 and a half miles below the surface, which is about 19k feet, comparable to a low flying plane. Imagine that all of ‘fly-over’ country is covered with silt a foot or two thick. If you were flying at 19k feet, I imagine it would be hard to identify the local roads, but highways would be a much easier sight to pick out.
I submit that the visible lines are the equivilent of highways, and the local roads just aren’t distinguishable. It seems reasonable to me at least.
Okay, here’s the problem. There’s a Javascript script blocking your access. I always run Firefox with the NoScript extension; that extension won’t allow scripts to run unless I give the okay. I just gave the okay at the Mirror site, and now I’m getting that copyright notice, too. You need to either turn off Javascript in IE, or, better, get Firefox and install the NoScript extension. Then you can control at will when scripts can run and when they can’t.
So, how does one past pics on here?
So thats where that lost mother ship landed!
