Italy gets $50,000

Hamas gets $900,000,000

Easy to see what Obama is up to.

I was going to say the same thing!

That is disgusting.

I know people who give that much to their church in one offering!

my thinking too

Hamas gets all this money,
Pakistan gets billions
and Italy gets 50 grand

where are all those western countries who are so quick to help the 3rd world countries, where the blankets, search dogs etc?

What nothing much hey, seems Italy is not important enough to get the help the other countries need
there’s only hundreds of thousands of homeless and about a hundred dead thus far.

Obama doesn’t’;t care about that, let him carry on bowing to the Saudi king and telling Muslims how we want to reach out to them

The amount of times I have heard this idiot reach out to Muslims is really starting to piss me off

yes we know Obama, you say this every frigging day

Prayers for the dead and injured.

Coverage from RAI, in Italian. The link for English seems to be down at the moment.

Earthquakes don't kill people,
BUILDINGS kill people...

No respectable building would sustain any damage in a 6.3 earthquake.

The photos on the news show buildings that should never have been built and should have gone to the dump over 100 years ago!

survivable quake structures

A very survivable structure is the straw bale house (Google if you don’t know about them, also check out this article about how they could save many lives in the world:

http://www.ecobusinesslinks.com/straw_bale/straw_bale_solar_sustainable_development.htm

In June of 06 I traveled the hurricane coast from Tampa to New Orleans. I located a small straw bale house that had been build behind Pensacola, FL. It had survived Hurricane Hugo with no damage whatsoever, although foot thick trees were blown down 100 yards away. I hear that straw bale homes built in earthquake country do very well too.

You are welcome.

I can’t stand thinking about how many living people are buried under all that rubble.

God help them all.
