Ive decided that I will not be paying any university to brainwash my kids after I have spent 10 or more years homeschooling them to be independent thinkers.

My home educated daughter is going through some of this nonsense in college. She’s not shy about fighting back and is actually enjoying the battle. We’ve both wanted me to take one of her history classes just so I could spend valuable class time correcting the instructors voluminous errors. It would be fun. Perhaps some day I’ll take one of his night classes just for the adventure of it all.

I started College in the mid 80’s after I had gotten off active duty. I was in a mass communications class and the professor went on a major rant on how the world hates America. After his rant he asked if there were any questions and I asked if he had actually been to any of these places. He said no and I asked how do you know that the world hates us? I couldn't believe that a professor actually replied with “well that's what I've heard. I had already been to the Philippenes and Thailand and my experience was that ordinary people wanted to be just like Americans and that's what I told him. After class he told me that I should keep my opinions and ideas to myself as it was counterproductive to the goals of the class. I laughed at him and tormented him for the rest of the Semester. I was really proud of that C.

“..That student was such an expert on the military with ZERO personal experience in it...”

And all the while the student NOT realizing that the TRUE Nazi was the teacher sitting there in smug satisfaction, and running the school.

Shows how far the lefties have really gotten - convincing the young that National SOCIALISM (where the acronym “Nazi” comes from) is a right-wing ideology.

Excellent, excellent article. Scary, in its truth, another wake us call for Americans ... yet like all the rest of the subverting activities that are, and have been occurring for years now ... we just continue on in a passive, complacent way.

Rebellion in youth against the establishment is/was a part of growing up to be an adult. Mostly a natural process. The point being ... they are easily lead astray or beguiled by new teachings. No all. Not all.

However, as presented in the above article ... our schools, colleges, universities are all but completely taken over by false teaching, brainwashing, and are being taught to disdain their parents, teachings, other than what they are receiving, their country, any thinking other than what they are agreeing with.

It is almost as if we entered a foreign country; and though we are using the same words, ... we mean entirely differing things/meanings. We are not really communicating.

We need an interpreter. So does the other side. Weird but true.

Devastating to our nation, and our way of life. We see it has changed dramatically in a few short years: when compared to the view of history.

God help us. We only know what we are taught, experience, and understand. If people are lied to about all things, and manipulated by the man behind the curtain ... how are we supposed to know truth?

This is the story of all books, films, plays, dramas, etc., ... in some way.

It is difficult indeed to get outside of ones own thinking process.

Think about it.

God have mercy on your people and help us. Without You we can do nothing. We pray believing in Your goodness, Your holiness, Your mercy, and Your forgiveness, and Your loving kindness. Forgive us our sins and help us to find our way. Thank You Father that You hear us, that You hear us always. Amen.

“the goals of the class” eh?

Pretty transparent, wasn’t he.

Congrats on the C.

I pray that you are wrong, the more so since I was informed only yesterday that I will graduate with honors on May 15 with an MA in American History. It is my fondest hope to begin teaching Junior College history soon, so that at least in my classroom, I can begin to turn the tide.

Absolutely worth the read. I’m gonna post it elsewhere later.

I never came up with some BS excuse for why I wasn’t at a class. I just simply didn’t go. Probably why I spent 5 years in high school, but I did get my diploma. Though I probably had it easier because I didn’t take any philosophy, sociology, politically-geared classes, or psychology classes, but I did take earth science; thankfully, my teacher for that didn’t bother with “anthropogenic global warming.”

For the sake of their minds, kids are better off just learning a trade and entering the workforce. If they can get away with going to a good college, where the professors don’t attempt to influence the students to accept one point of view over the other, then they should go there.

Pardon what I am to say. It is a reflection on you of any kind.

There is a saying that was popular during the 70’s or so
...” That was then ... this is now”

Schools at every level are Greatly changed ... for the worse. All public schools are included and some private schools are not much better. Political Correctness alone has made great changes; and when the self esteem issues gained primacy during the late 80’s to 90’s it increased and became worse ... no longer giving grades, no winners no losers, etc. stupid stuff in my opinion. Then came the fact that children speaking foreign languages did not know English, and all the nonsense done about it. And on and on ... this is not a recent trend, it has been happening all my life ... bit by bit, and escalating tremendously during the last 35-45 years or so..

During the Clinton Years as President there was a budget surplus one year. It was proposed that a refund be given to tax payers ... it was decided by Clinton that the people would not use the money correctly, if they got it ... so no refund.

THEY THINK/BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE SUPERIOR, KNOW MORE, KNOW BETTER, ETC. TRUE ELITE.

They do indeed want to tell us what car we can buy/drive,(while they have limousines/drivers, airplanes at their disposal for whenever or whatever purpose they chose to use them). etc.

They are in fact taking control of every aspect of our lives.

WATCH OUT ... IT IS COMING.

I'm homeschooling my 3 boys for this exact reason. I recently attended a “Philosophy Club” discussion that invited a local pro-life sidewalk counselor to present his side of the “pro-choice” debate beside an opposing view. It was EXACTLY as this educator described his experience, EXACTLY. Even the club professor and his sidekick professor moderator never acted or commented regarding each side, only the pro-abortion side. I walked out too just at the very end, disgusted with the predjudice and refusal to consider, even briefly, a walk in the other side's shoes.

I agree......not the way I was raised or educated. I would doubt that kids today, could graduate from schools I went to. I saw this coming many years ago when one company I worked for had employees schelduled to interview a prospective manager. This prospect was one of the best known in the country in his field. When he found out what was going to take place, he told upper management to take him back to the airport. He wouldn’t play their games. Pure socialism and the people couldn’t see it. I would have loved to work for this guy.

I interviewed with a well known electronics firm that tried to do the same thing by younger engineers. I refused to continue with the interview. It’s a different mentality today. Kids feel intitled but do not want the responsibility. Wonderful world we are living in. Glad I’m retired from the workforce.

I figure the cheapest, and best education is a library card.

What won’t you get? A piece of paper saying you spent 4 years studying something.

Well you’re also older than most college students (sorry), and therefore possess a wealth of wisdom that they won’t know for a long time. Heck, 23 years ago I would have been around 6 months old at this time.

Which is why I expect to be getting two jobs and my hubby to deliver pizzas so my kids can go to Hillsdale College.

It’s going to be a tough six years.

Where is she going?
I want to go with you two to the History class. Wouldn’t that be a hoot? Load up the class with MI FReepers who don’t care about the grade, just the truth.

Palmer tells us that we must put our feelings on at least an equal—preferably—dominant position to logic and rational thought processes.

Can’t argue with that........... but I feel pretty good about it..................

It is both sad and frightening ... the difference in thinking about life, self importance, and the willingness to accept, global warming as truth, mother earth Gaia ... as truth. Our earth is important ... for man not be destructive in polluting: that can not be recovered from (IE radiation poisoning)etc. ... .for centuries.

A few years back ... probably 20 years now that I think of it. ... the big scare then was over population; and how devastating it would be.
seldom mentioned now. We see countries where they can not feed themselves. With the corporations creating new hybrid seeds; and making seeds that abort their own seeds making ... we are quickly becoming at the mercy of corporations/governments for our food sources entirely.

Look ahead.

Would that there are more aware thinking individuals such as yourself among us.
Our current leaders are insipid, weak, old, tired, corrupted by the system people with power over the people. Who will do anything to keep their power. People that are good leaders, honest, and upright, ... like J.C. Watts leave, because it is a cesspool of power and corruption. My Opinion.
