The watch was canceled. No tsunami.
This was on a strike-slip fault (side to side with limited bottom displacement) so causing one would have been unlikley.

I am here scuyba diving...woke us up last night...very scary...may have new dive sites...since 2 famous sites here were formed due to earthquakes...
Mary’s Place and Calvin’s Crackkk...if there are any news worthy photos, I’ll post...but so far just things from shelves, and stuff that used to be on the walls are now on the floor...
Bats went crazy for a while...
We also noticed yesterday on an afternoon dive many large fish up in the shallows...many here wondering if some how the larger fish were somehow aware...guess we will never know...
OH well not much more for now...

I helped build a church building right on the coast almost directly south of the quake. (Actually a little south east in Sante Fe, near Colon.)
I'm sure the building is undamaged! I built it well...
