Well, Al Gore said the debate is over. Global warming is the most serious issue facing mankind.

And Obama has said that we have to stop the rising of the oceans and climate change.

And Nancy Pelosi said that she has a planet to save. She didn’t say which planet, however.

With so many good Democrats on board the global warming train, aren’t we all convinced that we must pass that cap and tax bill?

Remember in 4th grade seeing comics with an ad for a book which predicted the earth would soon tilt on its axis. Didn't bother me at all. I was worried sick about the spring rains. We and the Ruskies were testing nukes above ground back then. All that radioactive debris, high up in the winter, would rain down on us in April.

The effect was previously thought to be negligible, but researchers now say the shift will be large enough that it should be taken into account when interpreting how the Earth wobbles.

"Researchers now say..." because all other theories have fallen flat.

What will "researches now say" tomorrow? How about "Too many people in China will cause a change in the Earth's tilt, unless 100 million of them move to the United States to equal out the weight distribution on the planet, studies now suggest."
