You don’t understand there are godless liberals?

You don’t understand the liberal secular humanist NEA has hijacked our schools?

Really?

Evolution is the weapon of choice used by the left with which to gain ground in that battle.

I've seen plenty of leftist twaddle preached from pulpits that had nothing to do with evolution. Seems to be that fighting concepts such as social justice and AGW are much more important.

No way!

I’ve recently learned on thesee threads that the Earth is only about 6000 years old!

Regardless of blatant evidence everywhere.

blatant evidence:

“those fossils are really old because of the rock they’re found in...

meanwhile we know those old rocks are really old because of the really old fossils in them”.

liberal logic 101

I went to a Catholic elementary and high school and was never taught the ID/Creationist lunacy.

I won’t defend the NEA, but not for those reasons.

You are incredibly ignorant to the point of being entertaining!

Bingo.
Churches are echoing the “new socialism” and they’ve got Obammy’s back on the healthcare debate.

Teddy K. gets a wonderful send-off by The Catholic Church, but “evolutionists” are the real culprits.

“I went to a Catholic elementary and high school and was never taught the ID/Creationist lunacy.”

That doesn’t carry a lot of weight around here. You see, many of the YECs on this site refuse to acknowledge the fact that Catholics are Christians. Go ahead—ask the question.

LOL! I’ve been informed that those of us with catholic upbringing are idolatrous non-Christians. Spite the face - cut the nose...

Personally, I prefer “Papists”.
It has a nice, regal tone to it.

Alot of lunatic liberals apparently believe Christian and Catholic are interchangeable and one and the exact same.

Catholics are beholden to Christ, not the other way around skippy.

Is a Catholic who has faithfully followed Catholic doctrine for his or her entire life a Christian?

Wife hates that word - thinks it sounds dirty? She wouldn’t elaborate but I guess if you use your imagination... heck, her’s is getting as old as mine. I keep telling her that if I haven’t gotten a single hint of hers right in the past 40 years then why does she expect me to get them now?

How many times have you posted that? I’ve seen that same question from you about 10 times so far, and I don’t even frequent these threads.

So...

What’s your point? Trying to drive a wedge or something?

When you got to evolution 101 in Catholic school, you were taught all we know or ever will know is here by sheer happenstance, with no intelligence, no design, with no purpose?

If not, then there’s a profound disconnect.

I would think if evoluton was taught in Catholic school, it would be taught that evolution itself IS intelligent design.

But then there are a ga-zillion disconnects with kool-aid drinking liberals...

kind of like Teddy Kennedy being the good Catholic that he was voted for O’zerrhoid...far far left liberal, pro-abortionist, pro-partial birth abortion at that!

Unspeakable.

So yeah...”doesn’t carry much weight on FR” given all that...would be today’s prize-winning understatement.
