REALITY! It was not a free will encounter that led to the pregnancy. REALITY!
I.E. It is not a free will encounter that leads to many people becoming terminally ill around the world yet it is how they deal with the situation that they have been given that counts.
This woman chose to pickup her Cross and bear it.

An innocent child is never responsible for a rape.
If, for considered reasons, someone who has been raped decides that she cannot take care of a baby, then the right thing to do is to offer it for adoption. There are plenty of people who are looking for children to adopt, and they often have to travel to other countries to do it.
In this case, even better.

I was conceieved by ‘forced insemination’ ... I bless my wonderful Mother and thank God she had the personal fortitude to allow me to be born. She went through a lot with me as a child, but she has remained a rock through it all because she was doing the right thing. Such women are the unsung carriers ofgodliness in our midst. But there will come a where/when for all to be revealed ...

” When she’s old enough, I will tell ******** about how she was conceived. “ That is going to be terrible for the girl. Knowing her father was a rapist. Hopefully she will wait until her daughter is in her twenties. It’s too much for a teenager.

I believe most pro-lifers care about the life of the baby, not punishing the mother because she chose to have sex (well, at least that's how I feel, I realize there are some who want to punish the mother). So I don't understand those who don't care about abortion in the case of rape. I thought the point of being pro-life is to keep a child from being murdered.

Uhhhh...yeah, it's pretty much established on this thread that the woman was raped. Pointing this out is not really a point at all. And it doesn't follow from frogjerk's comment. What exactly is your point?

you just figured out why Judaism is passed down through the mother’s side.

I guess Ill never understand why the baby must be killed in these cases. While rape is a horrible thing to experience, how can it be the childs fault that it happened?
Exactly! It's not the baby that needs killing but the rapist.

If a woman marries a man and has children with her, and later he violently abuses her and perhaps even the children, so she has to divorce him or run away with the kids...is that any different? Will the woman want the children to die as a result.
This story is so important. Shows how life can change when we accept that there is a Creator, and these matters are far bigger than just ourselves.

My wife’s mother was raped, and aborted the baby boy. My wife still wonders what life would be like if she had a big brother.
Bookmarked to show my wife this story.
