"You wouldn't know science if it came up and bit you on the ass."

Well you certainly showed yours.

metmom is never rude and there was no reason for you to be.

HIV causes AIDS.

Chemo drugs sometimes work....sometimes not. Cancer is a bitch that isn't fully understood and most is not going to be prayed away.

The only thing certain about climate is.....change.

Quickly developed vaccines to a new strain of flu will save lives. Dont' get it...more for me and mine.

There is no serious discussion about science because your (pl) side doesn't know what science is.

In a bid to avoid being accused of a personal attack, Wacka uses the plural form of *you* to include the creationists on this forum, so here's the courtesy ping he neglected to ping.

On the contrary, Christians and creationists have a fine idea what science is and we recognize the fraud being passed off as science when that occurs, and we call evos on it.

The evo side has tried discussing science, but are totally ignored or called atheistic liberals or worse.

But the evos calling creationists the *Christian Taliban* doesn't count? Evos are in no position to throw stones.

Metmom, what is your science background? HS, a few college courses? You (pl) should know what you are talking about.

One paragraoh in which you switch midstream from addressing me to *you* (pl), again in another desperate bid to avoid being accused of personal attacks. In a word..... Fail....

My background in science? Meteorology, graduated with a bachelors, in addition to many other science courses as I switched my major part way through my schooling.

But I know molecular biology (graduate degrees) and your side doesn't know what they are talking about.

If you've read the posts by creationists, you would know that this is patently untrue. For example, you'd find this post. I know there are others, but don't specifically recall the screen names. Likely they have been pinged in that courtesy ping that's been included in this post.

Don't expect a reply from me until tonight as I have to travel a lot today for work and will be gone. I am writing this right after I awoke.

Take your time. I understand busy.

I am writing this right after I awoke.

That explains a lot.

Graduate degrees? Really? Says who? That must explain this erudite and “I know molecular biology” “serious discussion about science” comment YOU made:

“I think the people at the ICR might be closeted gays. I never see a picture of a hot babe in those articles you link to, only male models.”

Of the the seamier side of Ida I have no problem understanding, a lot of money was spent and naturally some of it needed to be recouped in some fashion. And an excellent find can make or break careers. Look at the mileage put on “Lucy”.
But in the case of Ida the tsunami of hype for a very nice but not very scientifically important fossil was the seamy part not the money exchanging hands. It happens all the time and paleontologists/museums should figure how to accommodate the business side of their profession instead of pretending that money leaves a stain on their hands.

Like I said the other day. The article had no science in it.
I was having fun getting the crevs riled up. Looks like it worked.

I’ll probably comment about more pretty pictures in the crev magazine articles because there will be no science to discuss in a lot of them.

You give yourself more credit than is warranted. and everyone else less. But I believe people can change so I won’t give up hope for you.

So if there’s no science to discuss and few here are going to entertain homosexual oriented banter what do you wish to discuss?
