The important thing to know is that ice is always freezing, ice is always melting, somewhere on Earth.
For some lard masses, one coast gains, one coast loses, in terms of sea level.
The Earth is growing. The coastlines around the world change all the time.
The tides cause the land to rise and fall, along with the sea level.
How much land ice would it take to make the oceans rise 4 feet all around the world?

How much water is absorbed back into the atmosphere on a daily basis, from the oceans?

Actually, that is wrong as water expands when it freezes and would displace more than its volume.Maybe that's why ice cubes float.

Sea level is a standard of atmospheric pressure.
The surface of the oceans is constantly in flux. The rise and fall of the oceans causes the land to rise and fall as well.
An inch would be hard to even detect.
Note these same people who predict the oceans will raise 2 feet, also predict it is getting warmer on average and will raise more over time.

BTW, you would think people would just make sure all beaches have a 3 meter high buttress.
Then, it won’t matter .

Has this literary form been officially recognized yet? Perhaps we can coin it as: "news-fiction".
Any other suggestions?

There is no drop in sea leave due to melting of floating ice.
..................
Correct I believe.
from h.school physics....
1.) a floating body displaces it’s own weight
-hence no change regarding icebergs
2.) a submerged body displaces it’s own volume

Let’s just bulldoze New Orleans and be done with it. Al Gore should be leading the charge on this due to all the money we are wasting trying in vain to rebuild a city that will soon be underwater anyway! /s

Why not, since ice is less dense than liquid water? The leftist nutcases are denser than water, thus their concern about drowning under the "extra" water. They are simply not bright enough to walk to higher ground.
My house is at 4600 ft AMSL. No worries. I don't want to be assessed to "fix" the lack of foresight of those closer to sea level.

I dont understand, why are iceburgs any different? Why will sea level rise?"
The earth is not perfectly round. It's shaped somewhat like an egg. But anyway, I would look forward to sunbathing on an Arctic beach. ...would be kinda cool. Too many people are scared too easily.

"Sunbathing on an Arctic beach" is a smart remark not intended to reflect the truth which is that by most measures a warmer climate would be a good thing. That the world has been sold that "Global Warming" would be a catastrophe of unimaginable consequenses is "The Big Lie".
Think about it, longer growing seasons, more rain, less ice and snow ... it's a long list. The down side? more storms and floods and a two foot rise in sea level. You know what? I think we can handle that.
