Nulle and Stinkulis. I guess they aren’t too uptight about how their names come across in English.
I have read and re-read that book. What I found interesting last time through is how close he came to radio. The Martians had some technique for long-distance communication, plotwise, and I think Wells alluded to telepathy at one point. And not too long after we were using radio. had he waited in writing the book, it surely would have the Martians in radio communication, as well as the poor English, making a very different story (and not as good imo).
