and i just explained to you why that is.
Perhaps you can get a reality show.......................
Naahhh..., it's more fun being the "little guy" and "getting off" tickets and charges... :-)
The boy was moving fast;he didn’t have time to put his shoes
on! The NYPost has an extensive interview with the other woman. She had a famoue picture in the same paper after 9/11.
Watch.
The policy will get a warrant if he won’t talk. You don’t get a free pass running over a fire hydrant and crashing your car into your neighbor's tree at 2:30 am without an explanation.
In addition, his fans pay his bills. If he wants to ignore his fans that's fine, but it will come at a steep price.
He has turned himself into an advertising gimmick. People buy products he endorses because of the image of himself that he sells. He gave up some of his privacy when he decided to trade on that image, and entered into a “live by the sword, die by the sword” scenario. On the one hand it can make him money as long as he maintains the de facto contract between himself and his public. But if he breaks that agreement, there will be hell to pay.
I make no apologies for being interested. it beats the hell out of reading the depressing news that issues forth from the Obama WH on a daily basis.
I agree and I have fun here on Free Republic with salacious gossip and rumormongering. It does help pass the time of day and get your mind off more serious and pressing topics like Anthropogenic Global Warming and Obamacare.
Face it, if that's all we dealt with here (those two big and serious topics, along with other serious topics) -- we would all be dull and "too-serious" Freepers...
I'm just glad there are as many other FReepers interested in salacious gossip and rumormongering as I see here... :-)
“Hes not required to talk to the cops either.”
You might be right, but I don’t understand. If you or I crashed a car and damaged public property (the reports are that he took out a fire hydrant, at the very least — I don’t know what else), wouldn’t things be different? There WOULD be an investigation. We WOULD talk to the cops. We would have NO options.
Agreed. Finally, when someone isn’t a media whore, the outcry is for them to do just that. US, People magazine, likely all the tabloids will have the front pages adorned.
Leave the family alone. His sponsors have already said they weren’t dropping them. And they shouldn’t. Domestic issues happen every day in America, let this couple work out whatever it was on their own. He’s always been a private person, let him continue.
When the John Edwards story was playing out in the National Enquirer it was frequently noted how they were sued in the past and now generally source their info and are pretty solid on the facts. In addition, this Rachel woman was also the object of rumors with some actor i’d never heard of, while his wife was giving birth. Someone subject continually to rumors of affairs with married men is going to raise eyebrows. Tiger had a sterling rep, whether it was justified or not, so this sort of rumor of frolicking with skank-hos IS going to generate interest. If he were a “bad boy”, probably wouldn’t generate as much.
and i just explained to you why that is.
And you, along with other FReepers "make my day" a little more entertaining and brighter with the salacious gossip and rumormongering.
No, seriously... I don't have this much fun with Anthropogenic Global Warming and Obamacare... those are too serious... :-)
Agreed, if I wanted serious all the time, I’d get back to work!
I agree. No laws were broken.
I give this one a big “who cares?”
This is a media ploy to keep Climategate out of the news.
If it wasn’t Tiger Woods, it would be something else.
Yeah... “work”... now you’ve got me depressed again... LOL...
AND we can chew gum and walk at the same time. Interest in this story doesn’t preclude following the big serious stories, also. No one can dictate what the public, or even FREEPERS, should be interested in.
I think we should offer a few suggestions to prepare him for the inevitable interview with the media. Feel free to add to the list.
1. Prepare for the interview by deciding what theme and key points you want your messages to convey in the interview.
2. Keep your message simple and make it sound like it is natural and not rehearsed.
3. Repeat your key message and points several times during the interview, if the interview is long enough for that opportunity.
4. Always keep your sub-messages and key points in the top of your mind and weave those messages into your answers, even if you are not asked a direct question for those specific responses.
5. Commit to becoming and being a skilled and trained spokesperson.
6. NEVER and I repeat NEVER say NO COMMENT when asked a tough or hostile question. Use the opportunity to refer back to your key message, by weaving in that key message again by saying something like, "I don't know the answer to that question, but I can tell you that..."
7. ALWAYS be honest and if you do not know the answer to a question, then admit you do not know. Never knowingly tell an untruth because it will be found out and will come back to haunt and hurt you.
8. Plan for the interview by anticipating the worst possible questions that could be asked and prepare a response to those questions. This type of preparation is invaluable and prepares you for those tough & hostile questions.
9. Practice! Practice! Practice! Ask a colleague to do a mock interview with you in preparation for your sensitive or hostile interview.
10. Do an evaluation of your interview performance. You may consider taping the interview and then playing it back to see how you look and/or sound. This is an excellent forum for training and to learn areas for improved performance.
dang. i live in a boring neighborhood!
We WOULD talk to the cops.
Then..., you would also be "stupid"... LOL...
Talking to the Police by Professor James Duane
Professor James Duanes now famous 5th Amendment lecture - popularly known as Dont talk to the police! - has amassed a considerable internet following. The lecture, given as part of Regent Law Schools spring preview weekend.
Even the professional police investigator agrees ... :-)
Fess up, Tiger. If you dont, the tabloids are gonna kill ya.
Tiger, let your golf game speak for you and screw the media. What went on between you and your wife is your business.
