yeap not good, not good at all. Also not enough activity to be alarmed either, but that can change fast.

Interesting! I noticed on that graph, the 2.9 earlier was listed as a 2.7 at a depth of only a mile. They must have relocated it.

There has been eight at that depth now. If the frequency picks up they should be going on alert.

Yeah, the last hour or so had about 10 quakes they only counted three so far...lol
I am not sure what their procedure is anymore, anyways one was initialy reported with a depth of only a mile.
We shall see, marked increase though as we speak.

Since January 17, 2010 Yellowstone has had the second largest swarm ever recorded. The swarms have been steady at about 10 miles in depth and they have subsided a few days ago.
In the past two days the depth has raised up to around 7 miles and in the past couple hours quakes vastly increased.

Should we post that Yellowstone might go on first stage alert? yeah I know it doesn't mean i will actually blow and it doesn't mean the caldera will go.
thanks

Steve,
Totally support that. I will check back in a few and add my thoughts.
The quakes are not only raising but they are differing now in much greater area.
