Sorry to hear that, Quix. I hope things will get better soon! Can you mix a little red eye gravy with that mush?

More proof of climate change...

THX.
Yeah.
I’ve even ground chicken fingers.
VitaMix and Food Processors are useful machines.

Instead of the Red Planet, how about one dividing the Red States and Blue States. It would have to a huge quake to put New England and California together but I am good with that as long as I end up in a Red State.

There have been two tremors that hit last year, that I know of. I live in Irving, Tx. and felt them both...they were mentioned on CNN and Fox at the time.
They didn’t do much damage though.

Rushmore Rocks, please add my sympathy to bd’s. We KNOW what it’s like. At least your son has interesting stories to tell now and, of course, is glad along with you his injuries were minor.

Over time, you start to sense something of a pattern in the timing, I'm a native and life-long resident here in CA, any my sense is that we are overdue.....

The ring of fire is on the move.

How nice of you. I did think of you a couple of weeks ageo when we were paying tribute to General George Washington, since you have that great view of his likeness every day. Sorry I didn’t get around to pinging you; he has more than a few admirers around here.

There have been two tremors that hit last year, that I know of. I live in Irving, Tx. and felt them both... Interesting. I'm in Collin County, and never felt a thing.
Of course, I'm originally from SoCal, so I'm probably de-sensitized to anything less than a window rattler.

I'm a native and life-long resident here in CA, and my sense is that we are overdue..... I feel it, too. I can't explain it, but it's something like a deep disquiet in the back of my mind.
The '94 Northridge quake took some of that pressure off my mind, but it never totally left me.

Thanks for the Ping, Tainan and for your update. It's good to hear that you are okay and also that your house didn't suffer any significant damage.

Youve set expectations too high, calling yourself Chester(ton) - Belloc. ;) Perhaps I should have chosen something like Larrymoecurly. :)
