In a strange way, this is a good idea. Maybe we should all elect dead politicians. They can’t do so much damage to the country when they’re six feet under.

Part of the problem may be early voting. Lots of people are voting early.
Possible but I doubt it as he died on Mar. 10 over a month before the election on Apr. 13. TN early voting begins 20 days before the election and ends 5 days before or at least according the state election website.
