The climate calls the shots on this planet -- always has and always will. Climate is dictated by everything from meteors and sunspots to volcanoes. I happen to believe climate is guided by the hand of God; regardless, the fact remains that IT controls us, we don't control it.
EVERYTHING that happens on this ol' Earth is temporary. We, with our pipsqueak lifespans and pipsqueak recorded history of a few thousand years in a place where a few million years is a passing moment, are only along for the ride according to God's grace. If we want to survive, we have to adapt, and the Bible tells us exactly how to adapt anywhere, anytime.

I though the the Neanderthal disappeared due to stupidity. From what I understand, and it's been awhile since I read anything about them, on the contrary -- Neanderthal had pretty big brains compared to their body sizes, buried their dead, and were around for about 150,000 years, maybe more -- that's a pretty long time to survive. So I don't think they were all that stupid.

Okay - damn, I hate to argue with scientific people when I’m trying to be funny... Oh well.
Yes, compared to earlier species, they had bigger brains, but of course you understand that even today that does not hold true for intelligence (just a general concept). I suspect that sooner or later, scientists will figure out just what makes up “smart” but at the rate this society is going, not holding my breath.

Hey, no problem at all...heh. Was just a flash comment, not all that funny anyway. I think you had a great and realistic response... Many more here tend to take comments seriously which is okay. Maybe we all learn because of it.

GOOD CATCH.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS TO WAKE FOLKS UP.
Maybe the walking dead and willfully blind were born with a death wish . . . or without sufficient synapses in key areas.

Isn't it interesting that as soon as obama makes fun of Armageddon, we have an Armageddon type event. Explain away, ears...

Regarding the veiled Islamic ladies, recall the eruptions on the Greek island of Santorini. The dust and particulates cloud on the Arabian Peninsula was so intense it was choking. The population began to wear masks and veils.
To this day many of the women still do.... believe it or don’t

With all due respect, it is not Mother Nature, it is the G-d of Abraham, Issac and Jacob that allows the catastrophes to happen for his ultimate purposes. Put your seat belt on, there are going to be many more, all explainable but all occuring rapidly.

Oh, crap! What if someone needs to go to Cuba for free medical care before all the Obamacare kicks in in 2014?!?!?

True...but you have to understand that “nature” takes its course according to God...so, Nature (for us) is the reigning factor. Seems that God has long ago been pushed to the sideline lately. No need to go so far back - history is written in the bible and seems to be forthcoming.

Modern climatologists are like the guys in that field at George Mason University. They are playing (over and over) Global Warming counseled videos produced in the early 2000s ~ with nothing later than 2007.
They can't bear to let folks know it's getting cooler.

No surprise at all! Why bother to look at current data when the past data works so well...geez... I imagine that they also have a hockey stick impressed on the brain.
