I remember my ex telling me how married guys in his outfit used to position themselves in front of microwave transmitters to become sterile.

As I understand it the US is importing bees from Australia, where the CCD problem hasnt appeared yet.

They have found evidence of extensive ancient land management in the Amazon, so much for that being a pristine wilderness since time immemorial.

The total area cultivated in modified "dark earth" soils (terra preta) is estimated to be the size of France.

Meanwhile, current estimates are that native American hunters were so efficient that there may have been no more than 5,000 grizzlies in all of North America. Even after the catastrophic zoonotic die-off, Lewis and Clark went 18 days in the Yellowstone basin without seeing a single megafauna species.

Honey never spoils if stored in reasonable conditions. Archeologists have found honey from ancient times, simply reheated it to make it liquid again, and eaten it.

How do you suppose that our crops are going to get polinated? Native bumble bees and miner bees can’t do it!

Mark Levin played that Carlin clip on Earth Day. It’s one of the funniest bits I’ve ever heard him do. He really nailed the eco-freaks to the wall, didn’t he?

Saw a “piping” virgin queen the other day after the swarm.

Hey now, this is supposed to be a family-friendly site. :-)

Obama’s fault.

Last I heard, it’s the cell phone towers that are confusing the bees. They can’t function normally.

Crops got pollinated before the honey be was brought here by the Europeans.

I was only referring to the supposition that RF is killing bees. I in no way would refer to any FReeper as a leftist. Sorry.

Also, today there are RF exposure levels that must be met... and standing in front of an antenna at UHF is not the same thing as being exposed to RF energy at low levels... and the exposure drops rapidly as you seperate from the source.

Early crops may have been poorly polinated, but for modern
orchard crops, caucasian bees are absolutely necessary.

As a former bee man, I still keep eye my out for working bees. Sunday afternoon I went to the disk golf course and saw a ten acre field covered with white clover. There were no bees.

When I had bees just a block or so away, they would have covered the field working the clover from daylight till dusk. There were no bees to harvest this abundance

Yes..... with the euro migration came the honey bees

The most popular race today is the Golden Italian followed by the smaller and darker Caucasian.
