Last I heard, peabrain, was that she doesn’t have a long history as an expert political analyst or journalist - which is what is being covered here, not to mention her total lack of business experience.
And just what experience has Meghan had other than having a famous father? Has she ran a successful business? Other than stumping for her father, what other experience does she have?
McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said that the message, "that sends to my generation is: one day you can just wake and run for Senate, no matter how [much of] a lack of experience you have. And it scares for me for a lot of reasons."

The 2008 presidential election was a bumpy road for a lot of people. Liberals were freaked out by the possibility of a Sarah Palin vice-presidency. Conservatives were freaked out by the prospect of an Obama presidency. (And they’re still pretty upset about this concept, if recent events are any indication.) But only one person nearly died from a drug overdose as a result of 2008 election-year-stress. And that person is ... Meghan McCain.
On ‘Chelsea Lately’ (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), John McCain’s daughter showed up to discuss her involvement in the campaign. She revealed that her friend had given her a bunch of the prescription drug Xanax, and the instructions on the drugs said “FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY.”
“And the day before the election, I thought, ‘Well, this is a friggin’ emergency,’ and I took it,” Meghan said. Then she nearly OD’ed and died.*
