The rush to the engineered famine marches on. I'm waiting for that particular meme to show up in my data sets. Hasn't yet, thank God, but I know it's going to.

This household no longer does "chips".This household either. When Wal-Mart chips went from $1.50 to $1.98 OVERNIGHT, I said Sayonara. Luckily, the local Smiths store has Pringles at $1 a can. I don't like their looks - no character, all clones, but they taste OK.
Items no longer go up a few cents at a time, it's now in increments of 10-20%.

FAMINE OR ENGINEERED FAMINE? That, I don't know. Have to add some target language to cover both and see what shows up.

Wall Street Journal had an article on the bunker survival portfolio. That might be a good hedge against inflation. However, other than buying each of the stocks in their list individually, what other ETFs, mutual funds, or investments would invest in these "survival" essentials?
Note: no precious metal recommendations please, including lead.
