The ‘prediction’ is that there’ll be blizzard conditions Dec 25-6 and again Dec 27-29.
I’m pretty interested in seeing if this turns out to be right or off the mark.

Who was that guy that said recently that his kids would never see snow on the ground because of global warming?

Joe Bastardi, of Accuweather, has been predicting this cold snap over the southern and eastern US and Europe since last summer. That B@$+@rd!

Can’t see any solid proof that the Gulf Stream has stopped in that video of the air currents for such a short time.
Do you have a more expansive article or link that goes into more detail?

Got those dates a bit wrong. Here is the cut and paste.
“Very Major snow and blizzard events will strike NE & E USA in a double hit centered around 25-27th & 29-30th Dec; One of the most significant snowfall/blizzard periods in NE & east USA for decades.” from www.weatheraction.com

Well this sounds interesting. I still remember the Blizzard of ‘96; school was closed for just one day and I had to walk to junior high wearing my baseball cleats.
Now, I want the snow just to shut down NYC. But I don’t want to shovel it, which is what’s going to happen.
