Oh yeah, come to an Omaha steakhouse. They don’t serve plates that you can’t decide whether you are supposed to eat them or hang them on the wall. Dishes are not required to have at least 3 ingredients that nobody ever heard of. You will get a steak and a baked potato. (spell that with or without an e). You will get a salad with iceberg lettuce that crunches, and a very small side dish of pasta with a sweet sauce. OH — and coffee stills is included

A sixty-something far left lib relative saw my pro-conservative posts on Facebook and was scandalized — she wrote about her various work problems over time with nasty CEOs and jobs sent overseas and stated that if her ‘rights’ were being tampered with — a la Wisconsin - she would be extremely upset. Her ‘rights???’ Ridiculous!
My favorite statement of hers was that ‘the rich should be heavily taxed to take care of deficits and severely punished if they try to hide their wealth.’ Yikes!
Another relative popped up and made a comment against her stance(s) and finally she disappeared. Her brother is the polar opposite of her, thankfully, yet grew up in the same household. I don’t know what happened to this woman to lead her down this path, but at this late date she won’t be changing her mind.
Nothing left to do but write her off — she only recently reconnected with family members and now this............. I refuse, though, to argue with her on Facebook. Sound familiar to anyone else out there?
